What is your opinion on matings? What do you think is too close? I have half brother and sister which i would like to mate as i believe they would compliment each other well. They have both same sire but there dams are different but related, the dog dam is the bitches mother daughter. I am thinking it could be too close but would love to hear opinions on this topic Thanks in advance

The 3 bitches finished there seasons about 2 weeks ago

Bitch had first season at 10 months Bitch mother comes in every 6-7 mths so we thought she would come in around that If so she is 8 weeks overdue at this stage I have had 3 bitches in season but she hasn't even shown any sign to come in Any thoughts?? I know she will come in when she is ready but would love to hear people experiences

I would love breeders input. If someone used your stud dog and u agreed to do a swap mating instead of stud fee but at time your bitch came in dog wasn't available due to breeder not using him yet. Then you have changed you mind on using him as you have other plans etc and can line breed instead of a total outcross. Is it fair to ask for stud fee instead of a swap mating?

Thanks for asking Alyosha, it is only small breed so don't want 12 pups but same sire did sire a litter the other day to 9 pups but to a much bigger bitch as well as had 3 30 min ties. My girl recovered after a day or so, went to do another mating and she came out of season LOL... Looked at her belly today and at 1 1/2 weeks has a buldge all ready LOL

It would be no from me too. Tell them puppy will be desexed prior to leaving your home. That will put them off as well
