Ohhhhh good luck LizT, fingers crossed for an easy whelping, with a BIS winner in there for you ... I just compared Vanda's 6 week shot with her half sister, Ochre's 6 week shot, and Vanda looks about a week ahead of Ochre, and Ochre had 6 ... Ok, so now Im getting scared :) ... Dunwarren you have probably just jinxed yourself writing that down !!! Here's hoping you get a nice bitch or 2 or 3 though :D ...

Thanks guys, would you believe that I just went shopping and I have sitting in front of me a UHT thingy of Goats Milk, but this one is by Living Planet ... It's an Aussie product, and distributed in Vic... Stolzseinrotts, is this one that is put out by Caprilac ??? I dont know how I missed the thread in March, but I did ... Oooops... Allerzeit I saw that one, and I did buy it for the adults, which they loved, but was hoping to start to stock up on it, cos it looks like I just might be having a fair few bubbies, so wanted to start collecting the UHT ones :D ... I presume that the Paul's one would have a short use-by-date on it ??? Basenji baby puppy breath for Nova......................Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm NOT a hope in Hades ... Does anyone know why Goats Milk isnt available in Woollies anymore ??? I cant remember what the brand was, but it was in a blue box, with white and I think maybe some red writing on it ??? Got a litter coming soon, that I want to wean the pups on Goats Milk, and I cant get any answers on why its stopped being stocked... Anyone got any ideas where I can get long-life goats milk from, Im in southern Tassie ???

You and me both LizT ... Just wish I knew if it was a mistake in the Lab, (i.e. did I get another bitch's prog result ??? Did they stuff it up completely ??? etc, etc)... Leaves me wondering, (if the result was correct), how much should we really rely on prog results ??????????? She should not have conceived with a prog result > 84, (it was 84 on the morning before she was mated, and the mating was late the following evening), so Im just very confuddled by it all... Happily confuddled I must say !!!

Oh is this the one you didn't hold out much hope for? :) Yep this was the one with the prog of 84 the day before she was mated, and she had the 3 25 min ties on consecutive days :D ... I was sooo hoping Mother Nature was going to take over, and it looks like she did ...

I too have just recently sent bloods to Jean Dodds... My Vet took the blood, spun it down, packaged it in a yellow top speciman jar, gave it to me, and I went to the Post Office, filled out the forms, and off it went :) ... Should add this was for Thyroid testing, not the Titre testing, apologies to the OP for going ...

These are the dogs who dont bark ??? Them... Blank look, followed by... Arent they too small to hunt ??? Dont bark ??? Me... Well they dont bring lions and tigers to the ground, (sigh), they help push the game into nets. They are carried around the necks of the hunters, till the last minute, then they chase the game into the nets so the hunters have their dinner !!! Them... Ohhh, (as they walk off clearly not thinking I have my facts wrong !!! :) )...

Sooooo disappointing for you ... The thing I would like to comment on is the home made AI kit thingy... I was talking to a breeder on the weekend at a dog show, and she was talking about how she gets the frozen semen, defrosts it slowly, (in her bra whatsmore !!!), and gets a pipette, and 'injects' the semen into the bitch, holding her rear end up in the air as long as possible ... So far has a 100% success rate ??? She has been doing it for quite a few years too... I would think that you should get a return service to the stud dog, I think most breeders would do this... Did you sign a contract for the mating etc ???

Yep they did Chocolate :D ... The bit you quoted is my error, should be Wednesday, not Thursday !!! I thought I double checked my days etc, clearly not enough ... So far I seem to have an overwhelming thought, (both from here, and talking to a few different breeders this weekend), that we might just have babies, but unfortunately one person who I really respect, and involved in the breed, says she would very much doubt she is pregnant ... Oh well being the incredibly patient, (NOT), person that I am, I will just have to wait till U/S day :) ...

Yes he is experieneced, I think this is his 4th mating ??? He was very keen, very, very keen on the first 2 days, (as was she), and on the 3rd mating, not as keen, neither of them, but still an 18 minute tie...
