Sorry Shelby, I completely forgot to answer this ... Well the little poppet left here about 7.30am and got into Adelaide at about 7.30pm, and home about 9.30pm. She was absolutely stuffed when she got to her new home, but thanfully she bounced back to her lively self, the next day... Poor little girl, she shouldnt have had to endure all that... NOT impressed at all... Still waiting for an apology from the Airline, all I have had is a hell of a lot of buck-passing, (oh just how surprised was I about that !!!)... Dont think I will ever risk a change of planes again... Still angry about it, but thankfully she was ok, which is the most important thing

Anyone know of the ACD results ??? The judge wont even be able to see the blues at all, if they were judged after dark :D

Well 4 of my kids have left home in the last 2 days, and the place is so empty and quiet ... It was sooo hard to see them go, and dropping them off at the Airport was horrendous... No wonder I only have a litter every 7 or so years, it takes me that long to get over them ;) . Then when you hear that one pup was left in Melb, cos the flight from Hbt to Melb, ran late, so she was unable to get to Adelaide, and neither I or the new owner were told...GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR . Not happy, and I will be making a formal complaint, in the next day or so ;) ... One more to go...

STEAL a Basenji baby... Right now they are ALL FTGH If you have the lovely silver and black one still for Mr Bwoooooooooo-man, me wants !!! Also if you have any white/gold, to match the B's coat, I would love to see them as well, even just white ones ... Yeah I know I said I never wanted white ones, but think it might be ok to use at Specialties only ;) ... Explain more tomorrow, if you brave the elements :D

Just one other thing to think about, Sunnyflower... Is he fed only once per day, cos if thats the case he might be suffering from 'empty tummy syndrome', (no its not a vet diagnosis :D )... I have Basenji's who will often throw up some bile if only fed once a day... If I divide their meals in 2 and fed roughly 12 hourly, the problem is solved. Sometime they eat grass, then chuck up bile-ish vomit, other times they will just vomit bile, seemingly out of no-where... Now I do twice daily feedings, problem solved

Well my little bubba's are doing well .. We have had to keep them a bit longer than expected, cos down here, (Tas), we dont have our own Eye Specialist, so have to wait till the Vic guy comes over, to have their eye tests... I have a wonderful bunch of new owners, who are all excitedly waiting their puppy I have kept the boy who I had originally thought would be a pet, (how many times does that happen !!!), have one going to a DOLer to be shown in Qld, another to a show home in Sydney, and one to Vic and SA... Very happy with all the new owners !!! My little boy will also be debuting at a Specialty show, on 9th October in NSW... His sister may also be shown there as well... Im hoping just for some good behavior more than anything else Will post some pics of them soon ...

I thought it was 2 weeks away :D Welcome to Tassie Allerzeit... We will be there with 1 gangly ACD, and 2 Basenji girls, and prolly have our 6 baby Basenji's with us as well...

Jag I was just about to ask this as well ... We are currently looking into this, cost wise, at the moment, parceled up with the pup, on top of the crate, or sent by Australia Post ??? Also for those that send food home, with your pups, how do you deal with puppy buyers in other states ??? I have 5 Basenji pups all flying out to their new homes soon, and on my website I have stated that pup will go with some food, so what do I do ??? I thought of sending some cash to the new owners, but that seems a bit impersonal to me... Thoughts/idea's ???

We are in Tassie, and my entire male Basenji is just starting to have a HUGE coat drop, (yes, Basenji's do have a season of shedding their coats bigtime.. If I hear one more person saying they dont shed, I will send my vacuum full of their hair over to them )... I was also thinking it might be spring going to make an early appearance this year ... I love winter, dont want spring to come yet !!!
