Selling unpasteurised goat milk (or any milk for that matter) for human consumption is illegal in Victoria. I know there are many people like yourself who want it for themselves but unfortunately in Vic this isn't possible. Perhaps the laws are different in S.A. If you contact the Dairy Food safety SA they may be able to tell you where the registered goat dairies are. Lucky to be a dog sometimes. If you sell it as Pet Milk it is not your fault if the buyer drinks it herself :D

Is There Anything To Get Rid Of Bad Breath Easily?
Shazzapug replied to Stitch's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
In a pug it usually means an anal gland issue...so we pump up the chicken necks in their tea. -
Get him in a head lock like I have to do to the Pugs...definately takes 2 people though.

What a beautiful even litter....good luck in chosing.

Your puppy sounds like he is also flat chested which would account for the laboured breathing....you really need to perservere with the pillow case over the back of the chair...they do carry on because it makes their little back curve....you really must keep it up or he really wont survive. I have done the sock thing, the flower pot thing the toilet roll thing....but nothing works like the pillow case!!! If you need to ring anyone please ring Billbo Baggins.....or write up in the swimmers thread.

Yay Hudson....I think its time for an updated pic of him

Oh really...bugger I was hoping much earlier than that.

Wondering at what week of gestation can a puppies heartbeat be heard on a stethascope? Thanks. :D

Please stop the weetbix, a baby pug cannot digest this without a tummy ache. And I hope the milk is puppy milk as cows milk also cannot be digested without a pain in her tummy. I hope you bought her from a reputable registered with pug breeder with the ANKC and have her pedigree certificate and her microchip paperwork.

Go the puggy...

Hi just found this thread, after reading the other thread lol. Thought it sounded like you....Loulou looks lovely...but as Jane said all these questions you should be able to ring the breeder and ask them. You should have her vaccinations card which should also have recorded on it her worming dates. :) I am a little confused though, I thought you said your mum and dad bought her for you?

Introducing Pug Puppy To Older Dogs
Shazzapug replied to luvs_mutts's topic in General Dog Discussion
She is gorgeous...any questions or issues go to the Pugs in the breeds forums...although some of your questions your breeder should have mentioned and answered for you... :) -

Wondering what changed in the formula of the product when it went from dark small peices to larger lighter peices? Like from Dark chocolate color to milk chocolate color?

And this is another reason why I think the micro-chip database should have a space for the Registered Breeders Prefix/Name and contact details. 1) You will know it's a registered purebred pedigree dog 2) Call the breeder if you can't contact the owner 3) Let the breeder know it's been found to collect it if the owner can not be found yep I love this idea It does have space for the breeders details. CAR breeder forms ask for the "kennel name" and their contact details too. The standard form Vets use does not. There needs to be one form Australia Wide (and one database if you ask me). CAR lists a few forms on the website, one that does have a space for breeders details, sadly this is not the one vets use. Until these details are cross referenced/made available to the councils it all means didley....go further than that, from one dept to the other within the same council.

I held a baby Griffon rough coat at the show last weekend and OMG I could look at that little face all day....just sayin. :D

The showy implied he got it direct from you...our Kyneton groomer was $95 last week when we asked him the price and went in today and it was $99. I dont go to shows often enough to buy from the showy guy. I will PM you. :)

A salesman at a show who sells BH told us that it now goes to a single distributor and then goes to stores which is why the inrease in price...I could get straight from Sherel for $75, we found it for cash only in melb for $80 now our local groomer in Kyneton has it and we had to pay $99 for it...bullshit as it has now taken it out of our pricerange. Unless I get it from the show guy who said he wont be putting his up. So well done Sherel for taking a great product out of the reach of an average family budget.

In the country :D the wives tale is that crows come around when they know lambs are soon to be born...we are keeping an eye on our ewes as we also have had a few around lately. We have witnessed crows swooping down and plucking our ducklings up...grrrr hate them.

I use chicken mince which is minced carcass and skins...I also mix in a bit of fresh goats milk...and I find babies dont eat the bones I find them sitting in the bottom of their dish. Although their very first tastes of raw I like to use organic beef or lamb....and then go to the chicken.
