  1. That is why I cut the necks into bite size pieces so they can chew and swallow without choking. :D I also feed 4 legs when woollies have them 2 pkts for $8.
  2. Calcium by the way hardens stools...fibre does not. As Rappie says, its not hard stools that express the glands - its BIG ones. Fur and feather used to do the job but few dogs get that now. Pumpkin and pysillium are both useful. No, Rappie reccommended medical procedures as her first options...must have been a miracle at work then that my Pug bitch hasnt had another problem and none of my Pugs (10) need their anal glands expressed. Mine have always got plenty of fibre in the pasta, vegetables and supercoat that is added to their raw chicken mince.

  4. If you make sure you feed chicken necks a few times a week the stool will harden and they will expel their own anal glands when they poop. Pugs are a bugger too with anal glands...my first Pug bitch was one vet visit away from having hers taken out and I fed her chicken necks and chicken frames and she is now 8 and has never had the problem again. I am scadey cat with the frames and the Pugs so mine get chicken necks cut to bite size. Thier regular meals is chicken mince roughly minced so lots of bones and dry food mixed thru...then every second night they have a couple of chicken necks cut up and mixed thru.
  5. Still none here...but friend got hers on Monday.
  6. That is so effing funny...it is exactly what I do and what I did with the Pekingese lol...it only took him a day to fall in love with him. I couldnt have the dogs we have if I didnt live with a man that shares the emotional connection with them....Pugs, Pekingese, Italian Greyhound and an Annatolian Shepherd.
  7. Haha that is very clever, I might just have to get one. :D
  8. At the Royal there is a Puppy on show...so no one shows in Minor, your aim should be to win Puppy!!
  9. Off to Google maps ETA...Oops didnt need to look, doh! easy peasy
  10. If their are so many carnivores on the island what do they all eat? If they are intent on trying to snack on small children would it not make sense to release unwanted rabbits or something of prey? Feeding them would create a whole new issue but releasing a food supply? A full predator is uaually a happy predator.
  11. Hi Shazzapug I assume you do group 1. The last groups aren't usually until after lunch so you should be right. We'll be there (as always) might catch up with you. ETA no Neuter class. Can't recall any mildura clubs having one yet FETA Just read the schedule and I see our group 2 is before 1 so if we take our time that might help you a bit. Thanks for that Yarracully...sounds good. I might just do the sunday show so we can leave really early and be there mid morning.
  12. Total care is a medicated flea shampoo I have tried Advantage and Frontline and nothing seems to stop them.
  13. Good question....cos its not who I first thought Anyone?? Just checked one of my friends pug results, BIS was Glomar Georgio Armani owned by Nadine Douglas. Hope that helps! 17. The only thing I have found that works is Total care flea shampoo from Woolworths....kills them good I have just also bought their spot on monthly treatments but dont know if working yet. You are best to get AB's for your Pap incase he creates hot spots with all the skin breakage.
  18. Great pics of Max....once you cross a pug with another breed the first thing ya lose is the noseroll. But this would account for his submissiveness in the other thread....mine would not let 3 big dogs stand over them without a huge arguement. He is lovely and loved by his family.
  19. *properly hahahahaha That's called Kamah!! or is it called Karma ?? Probably
