friend had a stumpy tail heeler called AGOT Short for MAGGOT! -
thanks everyone for your reply. I pretty much knew it was way too expensive. Might have to go in and ask the Vet what the problem is now.. Small vet surgery in the country. Have made other arrangements. Happy & safe breeding to you all

Hi all, I haven't bred a litter for 18 months and decided to bred my bitch this season. Rang the vet today to organise a prog test and was told Can't do it for two weeks, need to order in the test. And the cost is $380. I was gob smacked. Last litter it was $80 and a turn around of 3 days. Is $380 the going price? cheers

scrappynsuzie replied to scrappynsuzie's topic in General Dog Discussion
Hi everybody, Due to unforeseen delays, the Schedule of the 'COOMA & DISTRICTS KENNEL & OBEDIENCE CLUB Inc.' Championship Shows wont be published in the 'Dogs NSW Gazette'. To help the club promote their 3 day Championship Show please share the attached Schedule with all your Conformation & Trialing dog friends. Please also note that the show has been moved forward to the 5th, 6th & 7th of October 2012. This is after the closing of the Ski Season so there will be plenty of accommodation available for the long distant traveler. Cheers & hope to see you there! Share -

Too late for the august Gazette, will be on ozentries and as soon as schedule is finalised we will post it here -
Hi all, after much confusion by DogsNSW they have FINALLY granted us days for 3 shows. October 5,6,7 Friday, saturday and Sunday. Judges are John Burgess, Geoff Kill, Rena Henderson. A big thank you to these judges who accepted at such short notice. The show will be at the Cooma showground. There is camping available. As we get things organised we will post more details. There will be both conformation and obedience. Hope lots of people will be able to enter.

Thanks to LizT and Andisa for your replies. Mum has been a dotting mum, and hardly leaves the box except, for short outside visits only. May be because she lost 4 puppies and she knows this one is special. They were born at day 58 by emergency ceasar, so I suppose we are lucky that we have one puppy and we didn't loose mum as well. I have noticed with other litters where there were at least 3 puppies, she would leave them for extended times away but not this time..It is as if she knows he needs her there. Grand mother is now allowed to visit and babysit, up until two days ago mum would not let her near, so that is another positive. Kid rock is now 3 weeks old and is a little porker. We have moved the box and pen out to the family room now, so that he can used to all the different sounds and smells. Thanks again

Hi i have single puppy who is now 2 weeks old. My concern is socializing him. How do other's, with single puppies socialize them. I know he is still too young to socialise, but in the next few weeks, when he would have had other littermates to play and fight with, he has no-one, except his stuffed toys and his mother. Advise would be appreciated.

Grooming Table & Show Trolley
scrappynsuzie replied to Blakbelgian's topic in General Dog Discussion
The floor on the trolleys is also quite thin, and will bend through the bottom if you try and put too much in it transport gear. Having said that the poles are all rivitted, which is good the ripple covering has patches that aren't stuck down, If you have a handy person around I suppose you can fix up problems, considering the cheap price. -

I bought a trolley from them last year. All I will say is you get what you pay for. -
Think most places are booked out by now

finally received my test results after a few emails and phone calls. The aus rep had it since January but just hadn't sent it out. Not really good enough when people are waiting to mate dogs on the results of the tests. Will be using another firm next time

Hi, I have had my dogs swabs sent to vetgen in november last year, my credit card payment was taken in December. Has anyone had their dogs tested and how long does it usually take for the results to be returned. I have tried emailing but have had no reply, I'm not sure if I'm being too anxious and it usualy takes this long, although it does say on the website that results usually take 2-3 weeks. I will try and ring the Aus rep today If anyone can let me know cheers
