Hi, You did the most beautiful portraits for my girl Lucy about 2 years ago and I still look at them everyday and love them. Lucy's besty my Mum's dog Chloe had to be put to sleep last night. She was 15 1/2 a Gordon Setter who we will miss dearly. I would really love to be able to give my Mum a portrait of her. I will email you the photo's and wording and would really appreciate your help. You do such an amazing job and I cannot thank you enough.

We took our puppy to Hills District Puppy Pre-School and they were fantastic....very well run and informative. Highly recommended. Is that the one at Castle Hill Showground?

Letting Puppy Out To Wee At Night Questions
Animal_Lover replied to Gerda the Schnauzer's topic in Puppy Chat
My girl is only 10 weeks and the first night she went out a few times during the night but only because I was being super careful, second night was twice and since then she goes outside for "wee's" at 10.30pm before we go to bed and then doesn't wake until about 5.30am in which she goes out for a wee and goes back to bed or stays up. Every 2 hours I would say is too much, she will cry and let you know when she is awake and then you can take her out. If she is sleeping then just let her sleep. Good Luck! -
RIP Tieke. Lucy and Tieke can run a muck up there together.

Harminee, I love what you have done on here. They look beautiful! My beautiful big girl Lucy died on the 29.03.08, we had her 11.5 years. She has left an enormous hole in our lives. I would love if you could please do a Portrait for Lucy and if you have time do a poem one aswell. I would really appreciate it. Name: Lucy Life: 01.09.1996 - 29.03.08 Here are some pics of my girl. This is the poem I would like if you have time: I ONLY WANTED YOU They say memories are golden well maybe that is true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Author unknown Thank you so much!

We had a beautiful moment down at her favourite spot by the water. OH and I walked out into the water and scattered some of her ashes. Looked like a big cloud under the water and with that a massive storm hit. She certainly let us know she is up there!!! Same as the night she was pts there was alot of lightening and thunder. It definitely made us smile. She always wanted people to know when she was around...and still does!

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and words. I am still lighting candles for her each night, although I do feel like her spirit has come home. We picked up her ashes on Friday, which are in a really beautiful wooden box. We are having a scattering of her ashes next weekend and little memorial which will be hard but nice.
-
Thank you, I will probably get the call tomorrow that her ashes are ready to be picked up. Doesn't seem a very fair trade.... I hope she is doing ok up there....

Thank you, she sure was!

Thank you for your kind thoughts... Thanks BnB, now you can all see the big girl.

Not really sure what to write except I feel empty to the core and cannot describe how sad I am feeling. We had to have Lucy put to sleep on Saturday afternoon. Her heart started to fail and she was dying. It came on very suddenly, when I got up on Friday morning I got ready for work and usually she jumps up when she hears me put my shoes on and knows it is time to go outside. She didn't jump up and I immediately knew something must have been wrong. I went into her room (yes she had her own room) and the eyes just said it all, she looked at me as if to say sorry mum....just can't today. We called a vet out to her, who ended up taking her to run some tests but unfortunately it was no good. We brought her home Friday night and spent the whole night next to her hoping things would improve dramatically and then when there was no improvement on Saturday decided it was in her best interest to be put to sleep. It would have probably only been a matter of hours until she slipped away. She was a Mastiff x Dane, she made it to 11.5 years. She was my best friend, I miss her so much, the house is empty without her. I miss her big smile, bark and wags I got every time I walked in the door, her cuddles and companionship. RIP my sweet girl...I love you!

So sorry to hear about Merlin Sue. My thoughts are with you. RIP big boy...

You can buy flea bombs which you put around the house and/or everywhere! If you have washed, changed all bedding then that is good. It would be a good idea to do it again after the flea bombs. There are probably eggs around too. They may be breeding under the house or in the carpet...they are absolute buggers!!! Try the flea bombs (I think you buy them from the supermarket), if still no luck them maybe fumigate. Make sure what you are using on her is to kill eggs as well as adult fleas. Speak with your vet to get an opinion on what you use on a pup. But you need to kill the breeding cycle which may not be on her or her bedding. Good luck!

My pup gets them all the time! Especially after drinking or eating, it is normal. Don't be concerned.
