  1. Hi all, This may be of help to the people in Vic. I ordered Eagle Pack from Danielle Yardley [[email protected]]who is a rep. She left me a great big bag full of samples at the Doncaster-East Vet Clinic 1 Rose Street. Hope this helps someone. I believe the Vet only orders it in once a month but if more people ask for it he possibly will order more often. Petra and her Dachsie Felix
  2. Hello everyone, You may want to look at this link. I have heard that this ear treatment works wonders. However the gentian violet is very hard to come by these days because it is an old fashioned remedy and chemists rarely stock it now. http://www.shandilyncockers.com/EarTreatment.html Good luck Scent Hound
  3. Hi all, I never mix fresh food with dry food. My Dachsie is on Eaglepack reduced fat formula as he needs to slim down (Dachshunds are prone to this) and also meaty bones (lambshank, chicken wings, raw egg ). I feed the raw meat/egg in the morning because it passes thru the intestines quicker then dry food but gives energy through the day. In the evening he gets his Eagle pack dry which puts him through the night. As treats he gets grated apple, carrot, or baby tomatoe, a little yogurt, or some liver treats. NO MORE PIGS EARS.. :p He loves me all the same
  4. Hi Beth, You could also try and giving him some Nutrigel which will boost appetite. You get it through the vet. Hope this is of some help. Cheers from Felix the Dachshund and his slave Petra
  5. Yes, I was alo thinking a contact allergy from Wandering Jew. I say this as my Dachshund had exactly the same looking rash only a few weeks ago. Looked like pimples and then became inflamed. I put Betadine on it to avoid secondary infection and to reduce inflamtion/itch. Cleared up pretty quickly foming small brown scabs. Hope this helps
  6. Yes eulactol heel balm is great, I use it myself.
