Quick question...I am in love with wirehaired daschies! What is the expected price for a pet puppy?

That happened when i went away on my cruise, mum was going away the same weekend i left for the cruise and we were having friends come and house/pet sit for us. I left a list for my mum to print off and it explained everything to our friends. Well my unreliable mum didnt print it off and the dogs food all got muddled up. 10 days later i hear the stories of how fat Ramses was and how Teddy (the goat) was let run wild ( he was only a baby then) and that Sasha got fed the wrong food. To say I was not happy with my mum for not printing the list was an understatememt!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say next time we went away I left the dogs and the cat at work (boarding kennels) and will be doing that from now on

We have had this go through the kennels at work. There are tablets called Diarea that seems to settle it down. Poor mites!

What did they look like after 5 days? Is it meant to look like a fleshy wound?

Just bumping this topic because partners GSD had her rear dews removed last Monday and the vet said after 4-5 days take the bandages off. Now we have a yard full of mulberries and her bandages got covered in mulberry mess so I took the bandages off last night (at 4 days after) and it was not what i was expecting. There appears to be stitches but there is a dull red fleshy, sticky wound on top. The original bandages were bloody and it looked like the wounds had been weeping. I put a non stick pad over each wound and re-wrapped it. Im guessing thats not normal? I should have taken a photo at the time but didnt think! I am going the vet on Monday for my cat and am going to ask but how did other peoples dogs wounds heal up after surgery?

With Ramses who isnt from a registered breeder I got a small bag of the puppy food he was fed, a carton of puppy milk, a collage of photos from birth till 8weeks, his favourite toy, his weight weekly from birth. Then the usual vet info, microchip paperwork and a list of what not to feed and whats best for his breed etc etc, It was great! I always said the lady i got him from just needed a prefix as she was really good for a byber.

Gorgeous Pups! Re the 3 blues the one in between the real blues looks like it has some grey on its sweet little head. Maybe thats what Goldie Boy meant.

Im lookign at getting into Flyball with my dog too. With the toy to return him faster can it squeak?

Teddy has been to the vet and the vet told me to bathe it in peroxide morning and night. Teddy is a mini goat with no chance of butting or even kicking (he doesnt seem to know how) the pup. Leila is definatly not being penned or left in the yard free with Teddy from now. I should have known not to leave him with Leila! Ramses loves Teddy and never even glances at him when he walks past. GSD's are just not Labs! lol

We hae a mini Goat, Teddy he is a sweetiepie! My BF'S 3 months old GSD Leila likes to chase him. She doesnt bite but does chase till we call her off it. Now I have had all the animals sleeping in the run of a night and little Teddy this morning had 2 puncture wounds on his back near his tail. Im assuming Leila has actually followed through with the chase. Is there a way to stop this behaviour. I realise its in their breed to herd but my little Goat doesnt need it! TIA

For hotspots I use Neocort. Dries it up and stops the irritation, which stops him licking it.

Our 12 wk old GSD pup has recently started to growl when being patted whilst eating. I have encourage my Bf to pat her while she eats so she have food issues, but now she has started to growl when he approaches and pats her. He has been taking the food bowl away and she got in trouble. Is there anything in particular we should be doing to stop this form escalating?

I am horrified at the size of the poor boys wound! Its massive! Glad they are taking account for it and not making you pey for treatment. Hope you can still show him as he is beautiful! Im sure he will still be able to sire a litter if he isnt able to be shown. Or did you want him to have his title or whatever its called in the show world?

My 3 yr old lab and 10 weeks old GSD, play fight all the time. Its very noisy from the puppy! She is very vocal! When they get too rough I seperate them. The pup always goes back to play! I think its important for them to play but just watch it so they dont get hurt.

How do you empty the anal glands and how can you tell when it needs emptying?

Ok i am trialling Ramses on a rice, chicken mince and vegie diet with a cup full of sensitive skin biscuits to see if i can get his flaky skin better. I need a basic guide on how much chicken and rice mix to feed him of a night time. He weighs 27kgs. I am going to cook it up and weigh it out in freezer bags. Can anyone give me a rough amount to feed him?

I have a photo of myself and a friend which i want the flash removed as it was taken on a mirror and the flash looks crap. Is anyone able to do this for me please?

to keep the weight on ramses i use bonnie light..im not sure why the light food keeps all his weight on him but it does

Thank ash, yeah im alright Nan is devestated they only just got jim back after he was missing for 6 weeks, now a few weeks later shes giving him his wings.

My nans old boy was given his wings today. He got lung cancer and was put out of his misery of vomiting full blood. rest easy boy x.x

I feed my dogs Bonnie Light food its about $35 for a 29kg bag. They are doing great on it!
