Awww, all the sleeping puppies are so gorgeous.

Good news!

Terrible story, but good outcome.

Sounds like it may have scratched his neck sliding down. Poor pup.

For me, it is when they advise that whatever happens they will take the dog back, 100% And that they also advise that I can call them if I have any problems, at the time of collecting the pup or in the future.

I voted for a boy, boy and girl and boy, boy, girl. I used to think that girls were the 'sweet hearts' but after having a male first, I have discovered they are great big sooks. I love both of our dogs equally, but the male has such character.

Rare Or Disqualifed Colours In Breeds.

Love the different coloured Frenchies. Stunning. Don't think I would pay $20K though. -
I like this breed, the Boykin Spaniel. They look a lot like Fields.
-
Awww, they are all very cute, mum and bub alike.

I asked the husband, but he said no.

A link into the above news article shows that Staffy's have been stolen as well; a female and a male. Sounds like they are either looking at a quick way to make some bucks (or heaven forbid) looking to use them for fighting. Here's hoping the dogs will be well looked after and loved...

Georgea is gorgeous. And I'm sure Willow will be snatched up in no time. I love, love, love Cavaliers and if it were up to me, I'd get one now, but I don't know how they would fair with two medium sized boofas.

Rare Or Disqualifed Colours In Breeds.

Beautiful dogs everyone. I wonder when people (non-ethical breeders) go to sell the dogs whether they advertise the pup's colour as 'rare'? -
They're great! Thanks for the photos MM - especially love the one where the pup is sitting pleased as punch at the top of the stairs. I did think about getting these as our bed is very high off the ground and I worry about the Fields jumping off...

We used to have carpert throughout the newly bought house but quickly discovered that having a doggy door and two long haired dogs do not match that flooring...so except for the bedrooms, we've put down wooden floors (oiled not polished) and it holds itself up well.

Wow, some of those dogs are stunning. I love the long haired Rotti (absolutely stunning), the different coloured GSDs, the chocolate Great Dane, the B&T Ridgie, the blue long haired Wei, the B&T lab, the stunning brown Munsters, the sable BC, the white Keeshond all gorgeous and all dogs I'd buy. -
So sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful dog.

A Scare On My Walk The Other Morning
poochmad replied to all that glitters's topic in General Dog Discussion
Gosh, how scary. I would have been wetting my pants! LOL. Thank goodness you had a GSD with you, otherwise who knows what may have happened? I wonder if there is an update to his behaviour, i.e. did he do the same thing to someone else? -
My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

So sorry for your loss; he was a lovely looking Beagle and sounded like a great character.
-
What a lovely story.

Here's hoping the animals they found were already dead and they didn't kill animals for their 'cause'.
-
Thank goodness he's home, MM. Here's hoping he's back to his normal self soon.

Should I Or Shouldn't I? Any Thoughts Appreciated.

Hi Spottychick - I've just read all your posts about Dylan and would just like to make a few comments. Firstly, he's a very pretty dog and I'm so glad he's found a home for you, it's almost too perfect to be true. Secondly, I was thinking that the owners who sold him would have known how old he was, but most likely put his age down low knowing that a younger dog would be a lot easier to sell than an older dog. And lastly, regarding him going under the bed, as cute as that is (love the video) I wouldn't be suprised if he's doing that as a comfort thing. Our female Field Spaniel did that all the time when we first got her and now does it only when there is a stranger in the house who she's not sure of - but is coming out more and more now. I think it's great that you are using his brain so much, he sounds like the perfect dog for tricks, etc. Can't wait to see a video of his latest trick. -
We don't have a bath, but luckily my parents do and they only live 20 doors up the road. We wash Henschke, the male once a fortnight and Jindi once every 2 months. She has an amazing coat that stays clean, soft and silky for so long. I can't wait to get a bath, but that's way down the track and is going to cost a whole lot of money from renovations.
