  1. I agree. It's a great photo and you both look like you are laughing. Happy birthday Lili. :D
  2. I'd prefer a prison sentence..that or 20 lashes. I just don't understand how someone would think that was ok. Putting a ban on someone is not going to stop them.
  3. Friends of ours have an old male dog who constantly drips. They just bought nappies for dogs and they seem to be working well and look cute to boot.
  4. Cupcake is very pretty, no wonder she was snapped up quickly.
  5. Lovely photos, particularly love the photo of Cupcake leaning against Dodge.
  6. Man, that story reads like a tabloid...sounds like the dog was in a 'red zone' and didn't know what it was doing. I can't believe that it would act like that after not eating for 45 hours. Sounds to me the owners set this dog up...eating plastic bowls?? It was probably playing or could have been chewing on it to get food off...who knows. Sad about the neighbour regardless. Would have been very frightening.
  7. Good photos. I like the ridge, it makes her distinctive. :)
  8. Our 4 year old male often has a stiff penis (not the best description I know, but it actually remains inside if you get what I mean ) and he walks stiff legged (no pun intended) that I used to wonder what was wrong, but DOLers in here put me at ease. After a couple of mins he is moving around again quite freely. Thank goodness it goes back in on it's own. He was desexed at 2, so not sure if that makes a difference.
  9. Very clever. :) The pups are adorable. :D Isn't semaphore where you wave flags in certain ways  Doh! Morse code, or just Morse for short, would be pretty cute...unless the patches morph later into one big patch.
  10. That is so sad. What a terrible loss. Deepest condolences.
  11. Very clever. :) The pups are adorable. :D
  12. Agree! More photos please. :D And sorry to read about losing the pup. I agree with other posters, for someone so new at this, you are remarkably calm. I am also liking the help and support being offered, so nice to see. :)
  13. Aww, they are all so cute. I will have to grab the camera next time. :)
  14. Aww, they are very cute. Can't show you ours as hubby has a shower with them.
  15. Our dogs don't seem to be very destructive, we have toys from Woolies still alive after 3 years. All photos are gorgeous, especially love the rainy one with tigger hanging from the mouth. :D
  16. Really? I always thought it was a dominant gesture. I've never heard of it being as part of play.
  17. That's what we do if it is someone who is not keen for dogs sleeping on beds (or I'm not keen on them sleeping in my bed!) I love nothing better than cuddling up to my girl. We had a terrible experience with a house sitter so ever since then we have family or friends stay. The dogs are pretty easy to look after, are housetrained and we have all the mod cons people like. Whenever we've had the dogs looked after, we've just given them a really nice gift and stocked the fridge and pantry with 'goodies'. They are doing us a great favour.
  18. Agree, dominance. My female sometimes humps our male.
