I can feel (and see) Stella's metal plate on the inside of her leg, which is where the bone wedge was cut out and the bits reattached, and I can also feel the top of the screws within that plate. I wondered what it was so asked the vet, seems obvious now but I was worried at the time! It doesn't bother her. Edit to add, it's about 1cm wide and quite raised.

Nope, complete blank, bought it last year sometime... Thought it was Black Dog? but it's not on their website...

Peri, I have a long thin lead you could try, to see if it works? CDC has them but if you want to try one first let me know. My boy Angus always lagged, the instructors finally said he just didn't want to be walking next to me, but a step behind...

Fingers crossed

Gremlin has just got her wings Almost a year to the day that the tumour was removed. It had been malignant and the vet said it would recur... however months went by and Grem was the happy, lunatic cat she'd always been, acting like a kitten. Whenever she was boarded at the vet they were amazed at how well she was, considering the cancer and that she was 16. The cancer came back recently, swelling in her belly... Grem was happy and eating, loved a belly rub and a cuddle. However in the last few days she slowed right down and it was time. Run free, furry little munchkin you had a good, long life. ;)

Yesterday I went along to Binalong to watch Perry's Mum and Perry at sheepdog school. Perry came from Koolie Rescue, from a farmer who had beaten and abused her, and was going to shoot her, because she "couldn't work". Well, Perry and her mum are demonstrating very well that he was completely wrong!! Perry's only been for a few lessons and she was brilliant!! Totally calm, she just trotted around behind, moving them all as a group around and around, darting out to catch the ones that tried to make a run for it, then back to the mob. Perry's Mum and the trainer were standing in the middle of the yard and talking, and Perry barely needed any instruction. I was extremely impressed Here are some of the pics I took (not great quality, but hey ) showing Perry strutting her stuff
