hi my 10 month old cav girl ziris started about a week ago to have heavy breathing when walked but is active running and doesnt seem to let her bother her but i am abit worryed, she is happy plays eating a little less then normal. we went to the coast for a hoilday and the dogs got a tick each but we had been checking them a few times a day so we got them of very quick, ziris has got a little lump with the crust stuff which i read about and that sounds normal so i dont think the tick had anything to do with the breathing as the tick was on her about a week ago, around the same time as the breathing thing!! just wondering if anyone has any idea whats going on??? thanks katzz

Hello all and sorry i know toilet training has been done thousand times but couldnt find one that helped me so sorry again for the same topic!!! i have 2 lovely cav's a male that is 3yrs old and perfect lovely dog he is so nice and well behaved a real sweety, and we got a little friend for him a female that i got at 8wks of age and is now 6 months old and doesnt seem to get the whole toilet thing well i think she does if i let her out she goes and i give her heaps of prace now that has stopped , i found she still couldnt hold it through the night so i changed the feed time from morning to night an that seem to work well but then she still went and did poos under my daughters bed yuk!!!! now she seems to have stopped that at the moment but has gone back to the night and now worst all day it is raining at the moment and she runs outside then back in and then goes 10mins after what the she was just outside but doesnt seem to go unless i look her out there for a while but normally with the other dog i just leave the door open and he comes in when he is ready and thats that, so basicly she is all over the place with it its like a child going through phase they stop one and start the next but my cav ziris phases are all about toilet issues. i have tryed everything i could think of but nothing seems to work or it does for alittle while then she moves on to another prob with toilet training WHAT NEXT!!! any ideas would be lovely thank you you for taking the time to read my problem katzz

hi to all thank you for taking to time to help with your opinins. i have always feed my pups and kittens on Eukanuba and thought it was great they grew perfectly. i went into a pet store to gets some Eukanuba for our new baby a cavalier king charles they didnt have any puppy left but she suggest innova puppy as it was very highly rated by a number of sites such as www.dogfoodanalysis.com and www.naturapet.com on these there are hundreds of dog foods that have been compared and rated from 6 star as best and 1 star as worst as she said i found innova on 6 star list and sounds great but the puppy one was a 5 star rate, but i couldnt find Eukanuba there in the so put Eukanuba in search for there site and found it in the place i wouldnt have thought it the 1 star rate i read up why it was 1 star it was because it has by prouducts some describe as garbage fillers, so it is all about by-products and corn that is bad for pets which rules out supercoat as well which i normally switch my pets to after about 18months as supercoat is worst it only has meat and meat by-prouducts and they say meat should be in the first tree ingredents but sc has it as a mix. but as always there are sites that say Eukanuba is great and supercoat is great and have good protien levels but as one comment i read you could grind up a leather shoe and add vitiams and things to it and there you go it is nutrional this was a big suprise to me so check it out and see what you think i would like to hear everyones opioin on this and see what you think but check out sites they arent done by one food company so i think it is fair for all dog foods. thanks katzz ;) ;)
