Im not sure BBB, i think you're better off joining your local Bully club and asking the people there about everything? Theres loads of books out there for Bullies but most are not very good! Read through the Bully thread (im sure youve done this) that will help you gain a better perspective as well...

We have an older Honda CR-V and i can tell you we have nothing negative to say about it at all. We've only had to replace cosmetic things, like battery, tyres, windscreen, radiator... Its done things and gone places no small 4 cylinder should do/go, its pulled trailers full of cows, its done 100's of 1000's of km's with no servicing just an oil change here and there (and its run out of oil a couple times too ) its done hills many times, its gone through mud thats about a foot deep, its been run into by cows, kangaroo's, emu's... it just keeps on keeping on and im totally sold with the Honda's now.

Natural Mating Versus Frozen On A Maiden
Bulldust replied to Bilbo Baggins's topic in Breeders Community
We are debating this at the moment, we are not sure whether to do a natural mating first to get the bitch 'proven' and then do frozen semen for her second litter, or just do frozen for her first.... -
Dogue De Bordeaux Puppy Purchased Concern
Bulldust replied to AshSky's topic in General Dog Discussion
One of my miniature Bull Terriers is half Boxer going by her pedigree papers Because you can interbreed with Bull Terriers and Bull Terrier miniatures, Dogs Vic now list either Bull Terrier or miniature under every single dogs name on the papers, next to where their coat colour is written. The father of this bitch is correctly listed as a Bull Terrier, but his parents and grandparents are listed as Boxers called them up and told i have to pay for a new set of papers, never mind its their fault -
Good Behaviourist Recommendations Please
Bulldust replied to Bulldust's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Thank you will pass the info on, -
Hi, i dont have time to do a search but im looking for an excellent behaviourist in Melbourne that is good with treating DA, this pup is not quite 7mths old and for the last 2mths or so has been trying to attack any dog he see's, i bred this boy but dont own him, i told them to seek out a behaviourist when they first told me but nothing has been done and he is much worse, he also thinks he is top dog, when i went to visit, all he did was jump and jump (and jumpjumpjumpjumpjump) and anytime i pushed him down he'd do it worse thinking it was a game, once he gave up jumping he started circling me so much that i ended up standing against a wall to stop him as it was getting ridiculous. If anyone knows or has used someone who has really helped a dog similar to this boy id really appreciate the heads up

Freebies/discounts To Proven Good Homes
Bulldust replied to SkySoaringMagpie's topic in Breeders Community
I dont ask money from exceptional homes when they want subsequent puppies from me. That is when they want pets and dont want to show or breed. It would be different if it was a breeder/showie. The worst part of breeding for me is sorting through puppy buyers so when someone whos already bought a pup from me and done all the right things, treats it like royalty, kept in touch etc, i feel very priveleged when they want to come back for more and relieved that its one less home i have to worry about for the pup. -
I usually tell them once they call and tell me somethings happened that when theyre ready for a new pup let me know and they can have one for free. I recently did this to some people who's dog they bought from me passed at 3yrs of age, because they are such an exceptional home, i never ask money from exceptional homes when they are looking for a second pup from me.

Give him a little snuggly teddy to cuddle with if you havent already

Could you seperate your whelping box in half lengthways so then you could keep the one end for heat, the other for the toilet?
-
We seperated the whelping box (its a big one) with planks of wood so it ended up having 6 little compartments. You could put something in the middle of your whelping box and have the girls in one side and the boy on the other. We have heat lamps that heat the whole box so keeping them warm was no issue. What heating do you have? Or you could have him in a large box with hot water bottles and blankets or something?? Also once i seperated them i gave them a teddy each to snuggle with
-
You'll have to seperate him its the only way. And may have to start on AB's if his sheath is bad. I had a litter earlier in the year OMFG ive never seen so much pizzle sucking before, had to seperate all the boys, even from each other.

I have ALWAYS wormed bitches as soon as they come in season, then again 1-2wks before they are due to have the puppies. Never had any problems and never had puppies poo out worms. I worm the bitch again once pups are weaned and start worming puppies from 2wks of age. I use Drontal tablets and liquid.

sorry to hear she is still giving her mum and the old boy a hard time, shes been a bossy one from little hasnt she? And it started getting worse when she had a season at 9mths old didnt it? Did it get better after the season and then its just started getting worse again now? Id try a behaviourist asap, Bully fights are NOT fun!

Jesus are you still on this thread? That quoted above is probably one of the most idiotic posts ive ever read. So you dont eat lamb, (dont know what you're missing out on Moselle), you havent eaten pork 'for ages', not eaten beef in 18months (thats pretty specific is that something you're proud of?) but you eat chicken.... where does your chicken come from again? Are you having a go at vegos? It is a personal choice, and I assure you we are not all unbalanced and sexist Whaaaaaaaaaaaat??!! That was certainly NOT what i was doing AL! What i have a problem with, is someone spouting how long theyve not eaten cruelly killed meat yet say they still sometimes eat chicken which dont get treated very well at all and probably worse than the majority of other animals, lamb, beef etc. I actually tried cutting all meat from my diet when i was a teenager, sadly after a few months i could not keep myself away from yummy lamb chops any longer Though since i started in the dairy industry 6yrs ago i very rarely eat beef anymore & if i do it has to be cooked to the consistency of an old leather boot

Dog Mince - Curious On Your Thoughts!?!
Bulldust replied to Sunnyflower's topic in General Dog Discussion
Anyone had a supermarket up their price because you a buying alot of something? When i have puppies i buy the little trays of chicken mince from Woolworths, alot of the time it comes on special for $4.99 a tray. Anyway i had 2 litters of pups close together so i bought this mince every day for at least 2mths, and NOT ONCE was it ever put on special during that time, it had been $5.99 each when i first started buying it, i was buying about 3-4 trays a day which increased as the pups grew. Usually there isnt alot of chicken mince offered at my Woolies but as i was buying what they had every day they started making more. By the time i stopped buying it and started the pups onto Lenards mince just before they went to new homes the Woolies mince was up to $7.49 :D :D and not once had it gone on special Once i stopped getting it, as they had been making so much it did not all sell and what was there ended up being reduced to clear. It has now gone down to $5.99 and is regularly on special for the normal $4.99 :p I also bought trays of turkey mince too for the pups which also jumped up $1 while i was buying it. I was and still am absolutely disgusted. -
One of my girls snuck into my mums house and cleaned out her cats litter tray, my mum was absolutely delighted
