I understand about the quietness. The ones with the big outgoing personalities leave a big silent space when they leave this earth. He has left some great memories for you from his time here. He sounds like he had a really happy life and was very appreciated and loved. And a really clever boy. He was with you for a long time, so it would take along while to get used to not having him with you.

Yes, 1 year already. We still miss her just as much physically, but yes, you are right, she is in our heart forever. And, yes, she does visit often. Thanks CnR. Also, every couple of days when I vacum, I still find Daisy hair. I have all hard floors, so I don't know where it comes from or where it hides! .....and I don't even mind.........

Yes, I think she did have a fun 17years RottyLover01, and we all enjoyed those 17years together very much. Thanks. It is hard when we lose them, but I wouldn't swap those years together for anything.

They wont recall them until a "Notice of Recall" is issued I questioned them selling and putting them on the shelf, and that is what I was told by my manager... So my issue would be to get the word out and not buy them they'll have to take them off the shelf sooner or later... My Safeway had them on the shelf 3 days after the recall. I complained to the shop, and sent an email through the Woolworths customer feedback on their website. Woolworths sent me an email to tell me they had noted my complaint and would contact me through one of their state Managers. Two days later I got a voicemail message from the Manager saying he was taking the complaint very seriously and would be going out to the store to investigate. I called him back and he was on his way to the store and he said how sorry they were for the mistake. He guaranteed that it would not happen again, and was speaking to the Manager of the store where I saw them on the shelf. He seemed to take my complaint very seriously. I urge anyone who spots this product on the shelf to advise the store Manager, and then do the feedback on the website. Woolworths website I sent the email via the "contact us" tab. A lot of people would not be aware of this problem, so getting this off the shelf may save a dog from serious illness. ETA the store I complained about was Niddrie, Victoria.

Her girly bits look like my mums little rescue girl who is getting on in years. My mums dog was desexed late in life when rescued, after coming on heat. She looks a sweet little girl. Sorry for the loss of your Gran. I hope you are okay, and I hope the little girl dog does not miss your Gran too much.

At Airport West, Westfield Shopping Centre, the chicken shop near Safeway sell the minced chicken carcasses. A 5minute drive from Essendon. I have found this the best place in the area, and have been buying it there for about 18months. It is $1 per bag/kg. He doesn't put any rubbish in it and he sells laionica(sp) chicken. He guarantees it does not have anything but the minced carcasses in it. It is very popular, and I know that he has some standing orders for as many as 30bags a week from a breeder. The best day to buy is on Friday, but it is available every day.
