She is only a baby. Please do not walk her each day, play with her inside until she has had her other 2 needles. It is too dangerous. Tapferhund is right. Crate inside with you. I am getting a sheppie pup to add to my family in 10 or so weeks and he will be inside with us like th eother 2

I have found ADT nothing but positive. They reccomended flat leather collars, if training wasn;t progressing then they would suggest a correction chain but did not force the issue. I didn;t have a hard sell wehn i went to Berwick. THey have been great fo rmy dogs. Deltron their is a great one around Moorabbin that a friend goes to, their pup is doing really really well. Try a couple, go to ADT and a local one, but use the tools they give you that suit. If you find that you need to use food treats, use food treats to a degree. I can;t reccomend ADT at Berwick highly enough, Haven adn Her Rottweiler have been wonderul with all their help as has Erny. Go to your intro session adn then go by yourself to watch next time they train and see what they are about, you can see if you like it that way.

Thanks Eza and Rexy, i am surprised i didn;t cry - but i was focused on helping others.

Jules, it was NOT your fault with Steph. Not at all. Please know that. THanks for your feed back about the radio. I was so nervous.

You need a hytadid tape wormer like droncit. Advantage/advocate does all intestinal worms except the hydatid. They need a wormer every 3 months to cover that.

Does that work? If so i am off to buy me some ACV

My guys get carcasses daily for breakkie. They get mince, yoghurt and dry for dinner. The mince is replaced with egg or sardines once or twice a week.

Erin, how often are you feeding them? If it is 3 times a day they may need to go to 2. If twice they may need to go down to once, or try cutting their food down and only leaving it down for 10 minutes and then removing it

Thinking of you ISH. Bayliss, look after Barks for me. ETA to change his name, i read Bailey somewhere and put it down as his name. Sorry

Get it done TB. Not worth the risk of it getting torn again.

I don;t agree with changing the brand of food regularly. I think if you find somethign that works for you and your dogs you should stick to it. My opinion only but one that is shared by a few. When i was feeding supermarket food i changed nearly every bag, now i am on the good stuff, i change if i cannot get a bag of Nutro, i have fed Eagle pack and DVP Natural Balance Organic. They love the Nutro and that is what i will continue to feed them. Mitchi is now 15 months old and i am about to change her to the adult food, Hunta is 7.5 months and she will stay on puppy food until she is around 15 months old. THen go to large breed adult.

I have a couple of them. i love it!

I have 2x 32" crates for my two and a 42" crate. Hunta and Mitch were both trained in teh smaller crates and now Hunta is int eh 42" crate as she is too big for the 32". I am getting a gsd pup in october hopefully and he wil be in the 32" to start with then the 42" which i will get a divider for until he is older adn uses the whole crate. There is a place in MElbourne that sells the 42" crate for $99. it is the collapsible one not a pin drop one. Fantastic value.

I have 3 crates. Each dog has been crated since we bought them home. That is there bed, we put them in for short periods during the day. if they carried on they were ignored and when quiet, let out. Have not had any issues. They get treats when they go to bed and i can say go to bed and they both run into their crates. I think feeding them in there when they are pups is great and getting them used to it. I would not do as bordacollies4me did unless i had a stressed ouot adult that needed to be crate trained.

Sure is Laffi
