  1. I have a 7mo entire male gsd, he has NEVER humped anything Hunta was entire until 11months, she NEVER did it either I got to regular DOL meets that are offlead and none of my dogs has exhibited this type of behaviour Jessca, listen to your breeders advice, she or he knows their lines best and has the best intentions for her pups Puggy -puggy - it seems you need to be a little firmer with your dogs to stop that behaviour.
  2. Sorry to hear of this latest set back Hoping Ollie overcomes this

  7. There was a thread not long ago... http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...temis&st=15 eta apologies it was the grain free one http://k9katzkitchen.com.au/store/index.ph...at&catId=34
  8. Artemis also have a full range of puppy, adult, senior and diet foods for different size breeds that do have a lot less protein. Artemis Fresh Mix Adult contain 23% protein which is around the same as Eagle Pack Holistic, Innova, Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance etc... The food aimed at my medium to large breed pup is 43%. Too much protein. Twice as much as Nutro or EP Personally i think that the BEST food is what your dog does best on, theworst what it does not do well on I also think that there is no relevance in tellingus that X food is the best when it is not available here I wont pay $10 to find out that the foodi am feeding my dog is considered BAD when they doamazing on it. Nutro is not in the same class as Pal,makesme laugh to think it is being comparedtopal. That is like saying eye fillet steak is the same as a rump
  9. Orijen and Artemis are quite high in protein. And i am not sure that i agree with those lists either
  10. I heard that on thenews. RIP Kelly

  14. Anne, hope Sophieis doing ok. WG, how is Pearly. Zed_n_Q- hugs to you and the Zman!
  15. It has a really high Protein % though maybe it is him just getting used to it?
  16. I am so glad that the Zman got time with Maia. HUgs to you Heather! I know it is hard but you are doing an amazing job. Oongy, i am so happy that Maia got to see Zed and say hi.
  17. Kayla, Bellas girl did that a while ago. it got infected badly. Bella got it removedand besides the first week of regular warm salty water baths, being a pain to do, it has healed really well Erin i would get it removed, you dont want an infection
  18. WHen it comes to raw the protein is higher but you dont have the carbs and cereals added in which is why i think the growth is slow and steady.
  19. THanks will read that after tea. Daire is having 20% protein at the moment He was having 27% and it was too much for him so we dropped it back. Maybe gsd shoudl be on standard pu p instead of large breed even though technically weight wise they fall into that category. I appreciate all your help
  20. See i am not concerned about the renal problems, i am more concerned at the growth rate in a pup. I cant find anything about that
  21. I am sooooooooo sorry. She knows you loveher. RIP Loo
  22. What about joint issue and promoting growth which is what protein does? Will it casue joint issues?
