Ok i asked my vet about this and he said that is was basically 3 doses of the yearly vaccine at once. and that you still have to give the KC componant yearly Personally, i dont want to hit my dogs with 3 times the yearly amount at once.

There is one called Paws in Motion near Dandenong One at Devon Meadows and one at Woofpurnay in Narre North I have used all 3, my fav is at woofpurnay but at Paws in Motion they have qualified pyshios i believe for the rehab and have a treadmill in water for the dogs.

what state are you in? if in vic there are a number of really good pools for the dogs for their rehab.

Sorry to hear she had to have surgery, but happy that her prognosis is good. Good luck with the rehab, whe she can get her swimming it is a great way to build up muscle around her hips.

did you see a vet chiro or just go for xrays? asking because whilst xrays can show no HD they will not show a pinched nerve or a back being out.

I dont think it is unreasonable for people to be wary knowing that there is parvo around. Yes it happens every year aropund this time I for one am glad MM told us that Hef has parvo and that he got it at spring fair We had already heard of another case of it It just makes us a little more careful when we take our dogs out. Or at least it will make me a little more careful/wary I also dont think that it is unreasonable to ask the question if dogs that were at the spring fair have been shown since SF, where they have so people that have been at those shows and be more watchful.

Yes Dr Wyburn emailed me late last night to say he didn't receive the xrays until 19th Nov (posted 10th) and he posted back the results on Friday 21st so I should get them today. I wonder why he didn't email me the results? I'm thinking that means bad news is coming No hun, it is not that. With GSDS as part of the agreement with the GSDCA he does not email results back usually. It will be ok

First question, how active are the dogs? If they aren't get them moving. That amount of food for a giant dog is not alot. They need exercise as well as a balanced diet Swimming is great if they are that overweight to help with mobility Can you take them for a longer walk or 2 a day?
