  1. Weight Chart for a GSD pup Scroll to the bottom, but remember it is a guide. When my boy was a pup and up until he was 12mo i kept a chart of his weight and height Dont be too concerned about what the chart says he should be, go by feel, and look. Good luck with him
  2. Group 5 BIG was a Bearded Collie and RUIG was a GSD
  3. No in a perfect world they wouldnt unless i was with them. My boy Barker died 3 years ago from getting strangled by his collar - one of the other dogs got their jaw caught in it and it tightened until he died. Each to their own, but my dogs are tattooed and mirco chipped and cannot get out of my yard without help, to me it is not worth the risk. My gsd occassionally will wear an anti bark collar when we are not home if i dont lock him inside as we have had trouble with the neighbours. I worry myself sick when he has it on and i am not there. However, he is a lot larger than the other dog we have so i am not concerned about her getting her jaw stuck and strangling him - she does not wear a collar. I have scoured the yard and tried to make it as snagless as i can as well.
  4. Has Canidae been recalled? There's plenty available on Australian websites. Is it now made in Australia? I am not sure about the Canidae, i know that Nutro Natural Choice is now made in Australia
  5. I thought it was more to do with food that was irradiated. Which most if not all has been recalled. Candidae was one, another that was recalled was Nutro - that is now made in Australia. It was interesting but it really just consolidated what i already thought about dog and cat foods
  6. COngrats Fan, Arawyn and LMWS!
  7. I used to have a Malamute, she didnt even get a towel. She refused to sleep on ANY bedding so i stopped giving it to her So, no i dont think a towel is cruel.

  14. There can be Bokeku It can happen and does happen more often if you mix meat and dry together as teh ratios are off. Pups can grow too quickly and have joint issues.
  15. Oh LP :D Congrats on your bubbas! THey are just divine! Kinta looks like a very content mum. Congrats and i am so glad all is ok. Look forward to seeing them grow up.
  16. I wondered the same thing........... maf.. I know you saw "the father"... however, more than one dog can mate a bitch when she's in season.. and the pups in a litter can have different fathers! GSD pup CAN have white feet And they look PB to me Please take your pup to the vet and get some advice from the vet.
