Spotty, i think you are hitting your head against a brick wall. This is how it comes across to me: that It is far better for them to prosecute registered breeders and stop them from doing certain matings and breeding before certain ages than stop puppy farming and cruelty

Spotty i agree, she certainly was a brick or two short of a barby And i thought the same thing when they get a conviction 12 months AFTER the dogs were originally returned and they are WORSE than before :p :p Those poor poor dogs ;) :laugh: ;)

thanks we went to the vet on monday as she had a swollen ear, no bites from the other cats, nothing in it etc, the vet and i think maybe an insect bite. She had a cortisone injection then, and tonight i noticed the other ear had fdone the same but not to the same degree I called the vet and the nurse said not too, so i am watching her - the ear is nearly back to normal

True, but I just wanted to know whether it is assumed that apart from Eukanaba owners are expected to feed dogs fruit, vegetables, bones etc. some do and some dont it is entirely up to you the high end dry foods are meant to be a complete food why not start him on it now and see how he goes before you leave if he needs more, your friend can add sardines, eggs etc

We have had this argument before. On DOL It is wrong that the titles wont be recognised on ANKC paperwork. It does not stop you from advertising the titles, nor does it stop breeders showing the original paperwork proving these titles I agree it is not fair nor right. And this is not just Victoria, this is Australia wide according to the first post.

I have had both dogs first and cats first. I found it easier to have the cat first and introduce a pup - that was me though One of my cats will ignore the dogs, but if they get too close will bop them, the other 2 cats love the dogs and vice versa, the GSD will share his food with the cats and happily snuggle with them too My only suggestion, is to have set rules and enforce them, ie not chasing the cats, no biting, nibbling, rough play etc
