Hi Megan we do Trialing training on tues nights at Kcc Park in the Pavilon :) -
I got my 5 dog permit within a couple of days & that is with Cardinia Shire, I live in residentual court :)
-
there are some show ppl who are like that I can say at the back of the Boxhall Pavilion, Kcc Park, while training/instructing Obedience classes we are playing DODGE the Landmines, large & small there are dunny bags hanging on the exit doors ppl go through & they dont even bother grabbing one as they pass by. There are anywhere from 3 to 15-20 in our classes, the showies bring their dogs out, let them have a dump & go back inside Ok yes there is some showis that do pick up but have seen a lot that don't

yea rain, hail & thunder, my 4 dogs refuse to work in that kind of weather, then again when you are talking Whippets, they would rather be under a doona or in the heater  so we are going to be chickens & pull out

TRIAL MOVED Geelong ODC Obedience & Rally Trials have been moved. Due to unsafe ground conditions Geelong's trials have been moved. The trials will now be held at Breakwater Reserve, corner Tanner Street and Currier Streets, Breakwater. Limited canteen facilities will still be available. If you know of anyone that is entered can you please spread the word. All check in times will remain the same. If you have any concerns I can be contacted on [email protected] or mobile 0409138677. I had this crazy idea that KCC Park was ridiculously far away. Google maps says it's 20 minutes away :D I will come have a pokesie around this Sunday then! Thanks for the suggestion. Hi Hippo I will not be there this Sun as I will be trialing in Geelong with 4 of our dogs 1 in Obedience & 3 in Rally but if you see Jenny or Janine ( Janine will have a GSP or a Schnauzer with her) we like to work with you & the dog & we like to be family freindly, the club rooms are at the back of the grounds, you will see a lot of Shepherds there (that will be the Shepherd club), we train between the back of the Pavilion & the dams. :) Jenny & Janine are normally there about 9-930am training starts with Companion Dog class at 10am, Certificates start about 11.15am till about high noon :D -

Megan & Hippo Westernport Club train at Kcc Park on Sun mornings, they damm near fit the requirement you both are looking for, why dont you come down & have a look & chat to us instructers :D -
I dont think you are stepping on any toes, well not mine anyway  yes I do agree we do weaving in the beginners class, we do have 2 experience trialers that do it :D As far as I am concerd any input is good input every dog works different so its a case of finding what works :) Trial & Error as they say
-
our trial training night, we do one on, so there is at least 3-4 instructors, we work with up & coming trialers &help the ones in the higher classes :) playing the Focus game is good for Agility, my daughter is doing it with one of pups for Agility, he coming along really well, :) while I work with our furkids
-
The club where I instruct we have our general training day from puppy class through to trial standard :) then we have one night per week where it is only for ppl who want to trial from CCD level & up, trial night is really where the nitty gritty gets hammard into the handler to correct the handlers faults but at the same time we make it fun :D
-
the roll over to be examind is rubbish what if you want to Obed trial, Stand for Examination you need the dog to Stand not roll over & play DEAD Total Fail, zero points Weaving is good 'cause it teaches your dog to FOCUS on YOU not what is going on around you both, just like what we talked about on the weekend Emm :D
-
Don't worry SLLH you will have your bike back before you know it :D & back into training :D
-
Wow! what an honour! Will the papillon club have a parade in our honour? Or name an event after us? Or induct us as honorary life members? Or name the club rooms after us? Oh what fun!! Seriously though, it was an honour to judge the ET, and YOU should be justifiably proud of the effort you put in to achieve this title. M Oh we feel like we have won Tatts  we will be back next year with 3 more of our dogs  your support & encouragement was absolutely great thankyou M :D
-
Hey M you & Ray should proud to judge the 1st official Papillon to get the Title of ET yes I received conformation from Dogs Vic this evening that our girl Mailka is the 1st Papllon in Australia
