I have entered Viszla club for Orlando, I am looking at Sale on the 2nd July for Malika, she will be due to come into season around the 5th July, thats also if I have her up to condition :D If she is ready by GSD Trial, might stick her in that one instead, we will see, if not we will look at Sale it will be a long day, up out of bed about & leave by 5.00 am , being a 2 hr drive to Sale but thats nothing for me to do. I am keeping my options open at this piont of time with Malika
-
Thanks OSS for the support , we only covered 1k at 10.5 k's it's going to take time to build her up but as Abbiestar has said "slow & steady wins the race" For the next week will be concerntraiting on Orlando, our trial is on the 28th, after that I will then work on Malika :D
-
Thank you Abbiestar for the advise I will try & remember that , still getting use to this gear stuff of which gears are best for which terrane :D if I keep plodding along with Malika I might have her ready for the ET at Sale just before she comes into season
-
Oh I forgot to mention guys, I paced our Pappy (Malika)at the park last Mon after I did Orlando, got her up 10.5k's over 1k I was to knacked to go any further after trying to push through the grass

I apologise TrinaJ, I looked at my speedo this morning it actually read 6k's cause I did not clear monday's run of the speedo till this morning. This morning Orlando & I covered 9k's with an adverage speed of 11.5k's it was interesting I took Orlando around the lake at Lakeside , waterbirds everywhere (ducks & other waterfowel),they got Orlando's attention but I made him concertrate of the job at hand, he then settled :D :D .
-
yep cool with us :D
-
slightly TrinaJ I just showed your web site to my parnter he has fallen in love with Jet & would love a pup out of her He may come over & meet you & her next week, he thinks she is much like our Teddy, the one I told you about (shoulders same height at dinning room table)

-
Oh yes please :D , So do we, we have an ET on the 28th this month, was out there this morning with TrinaJ & another rider doing some riding, the grass section was a absolutly sluggy after 2 days of rain
-
Yes TrinaJ I still have a soft spot for Rotties, If I had a larger property I would have another Rottie & I know where I would get one from, no guesses there :D . I did get my bike out no probs :D , next week I will just bring Orlando so no crate thats ok not remembering our little girls name (Malika is her name) Yes I do agree Orlando loves going out, I need to work Malika a lot more but I will do that after we have got Orlando's ET :D Fingers crossed for the weather to stay good for us.....

Hey Rubystar how about bagin up some of that sunshine you guys have & send it to Vic we need it to dry out Kcc park grounds
-
Hi Abbiestar we did well on bitchamin & gravel but lost the consist pace on the grass, we managed to cover about 5 1/2 k's the sluggy grass tired us a bit
-
It's great putting faces to names Love your babies toooo Your not wrong about the grassed area we are suppose cover we will need at least a week of good sunshine for it to dry out not holding my breath on the week of sunshine Oh Jet paced lovely, I think she did well having other dogs in front & behind her
-
to you Spotted Devil yep no excusses now :D
-
We're you at Berwick too? I was rather disappointed as I'd driven almost 1.5 hours to get to the trial only to have it called off. Ankle deep water in some spots was not nice. Well done on your sit stay Na sorry wasnt at Berwick but I did hear it got cancealed by our president, they had 2 of their dog enterd. I am with Westernport & we train at Kcc Park Sun mornin's Southern dog club are also at our grounds at the momento, they lost their club rooms etc due to the floods a couple of months ago Oh thank you Nik, I very happy I got my Whippet to stay that long :D in the wet
-
thanks Ptolomy well the only tip I could give, when you have a few puppies & its feeding time at the zoo , Orlando is made to sit stay while I prepare their dinner, feed them & then I give Orlando his :D if he breaks I repeat, which he dosen't anymore, the other prob I had was he didn't like other dogs near him but I feel the pups may have changed that. He use to break his stays after at least 30 sec's, but now I feel we may finally start getting our passes for CCD :D

Thank you Abbiestar I think we will keep warm, sorry you are unable to make it
