I think doing a ET with a dislacated arm would be a lot easier than doing a trial
-
your not wrong there Bloody Ouchies the only painkillers that work for me, put me to sleep, cant do that Been doing some arm exercises to get the arm up so I can try & do the Recalls, that was my major concern I have been told to let the judges know I have damaged my arm
-
Thank you Oss, I hope you get yours soon, I went & picked mine up from their office, they rang me Wed & said mine was ready to pick up I couldnt do it yesterday as I dislocated my left elbow I freaked thinking it was broken & unable to trial on Sat

It would be a great shame if Sale cancel next year

I guess with only two entries, we have to rely on one of those being a DOLer. maybe they cancelled the test? M You could be right there M

Whats Required For First Obedience Trial
murve replied to Kaffy Magee's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
No not dead dog, he rolls around on his back with paws flailing. The dog in the trial did the same and even manage to displace the stay marker and throw it up in the air they are funny when they do that -

Hey Wuffles does that dog from your club loves playing "Dead Dog" Yes I do agree also on "Make sure you train with other dogs that are not necessarily stable on their stays" it will take patience & time but it will pay off in the long run -
Just wishing good luck to those doing their ET at Sale tomorrow :D also to others around the country :D Like the comment "he has eyeball & other balls " Tassie

Ok PME CCD Recalls off lead, all heel work & stand for Examination on lead -- done solo sit stay 1min, drop stay 2min are all down off leash, they only allow max 10 dogs 1meter apart, this is the only group exercise If the dog breaks the judge will indicate to the handler to get their dog & stand quietly till end of stays, yes you do loose points Yes go to some trials & watch, talk to other handlers, The incident that happened last Sat is rare If you can make it come to Kcc park Tues night Ross Carlson will be doing a talk on trials & etc there will be a couple dogs demonstrating the different levels too. It wil start at 7pm in the Pavilion -
i started doing it home only he dot the message real quick

Hi Wuffles, our next trial is at Geelong VIC 9th & 10th July , they are having 4 trials over 2 days, we are doing the double on the Sat, was hoping to do Sun as well but unable to prior commitments. Body language is a make or break for all work now I've been woken up to that & paying more attention & it is paying off in training Hoverdrops Orlando can be good at that, I corrected that by telling him boot & place my hand on his back ( not a lot of pressure) till he droped propperly now if he decides to hoverdrop all I say is Boot, bang straight down he goes
-
just started fixing my recalls, Orlando would wait for the 2nd call before coming , this is where I lost 20 points, the prob was I tenced up my shoulders, got to relax the shoulders or I will have bricks on them with my drill seargent on hand it has been hard few days but at the same time good :D About turns perfect :D Passing near perfect Stays perfect :D thanks to a group of puppies running around SFE pefect :D well we already knew that Recalls need some more work on me halts near good, will sit but sometimes on a slight angle drops down pat :D will drop on wet grass with nice grace style to it
-
Thank you Oss I didnt know about 2 of the pics till tonight when I came across them in the Hungarian Vizsla Facebook :D I was only looking for the group pics :D I did crop the one of me on the bike though
