Hey Skunk so where have you decided to train your baby?? :D -
Yes I think we will let young Jordy keep the ribbons, we keep the qually cards of course & take a pic so we both have a copy  Thank you everybody for your thoughts :D

Inevitablue :: it might be the case we both would get a kick out of it,this is why I asked what would good way to handle it, I do know where you are coming from on the world cup :D I had that feeling when we got our 1st ribbons last year even though it was 3rd place & 1st pass for CCD. Kadbury :: that is a good idea taking a pic of the double trouble together with the ribbons  this young girl will end up with one of our furkids from a future litter our girl will have :D . At this point in time she is unable to have a small breed dog at her home.

I was looking into a Oztrail Deluxe, then we went interstate to pick up a dog trailer & scored the type of gazebo I was looking at :D what a bargain, the lady was retirering from dog shows, she offered us the gazebo, we were happy to pay for it but she just wanted it gone. When we got home, we set it up absolutely nothing wrong with it, the carry bag a little worn but thats all all I can say what a score :D

Fear Of Dogs In A Child....and How To Help?
murve replied to Bluefairy's topic in General Dog Discussion
what about trying to contact the local elderly ppl home to see if they have theropy dogs that come in, try contacting a dog theropy group :) Yes Greys & Whippets are great for kids who have this fear as they are so layed back :D Good luck with your grandson Bluefairy -
When looking for a bike, remember, despite how good they look and how light they are, you do not need the $$$ carbon framed road bike! A mountain bike is a better option for the ET. Preferably, one with gears and a good seat (consider cycling shorts again). Many ET'ers have had great success from bikes they have bought from Aldi, or garage sales for around $50! Good luck, and keep us posted on your discoveries! M Here here M, I have ende up with 4 mountain bikes, 1 off Ebay about $40.00, 2 from garage sales, the 4th was given to us  we have both 24" & 26" bikes Oh Micheal, ran the thought of our club running a ET past the Secratary tonight, she was a bit iffy at 1st, but another lady jumped in & said she could help witha vet & steward helpers, the secratary then thought it could be a good idea.
-
May I ask SS where abouts (district) do you live, it sounds like you are in the sticks somewhere :D as M has said talk to your club & see what you can do try & get as much interest from other members to do a Endurance trial :D
-

We have a Ranger ( it is 40yrs young), we bought it s/h (one owner) & have done it up. it now looks like a brand new one, found it had NO leaks before working on it :D We have been offered $5,000.00 for it, sorry no sale
-
Will do M :D I remember the course we did last year there with Gordon Parsons, I might get them to do a bit of traing before classes starts  on a Sun Morning, that will be interesting the best part or should I say the worst part of helping to train these 2 whippets neither have done a stick of Obedience one is 21/2 yrs, the other Whippet is the sibling to mine, they are 4yrs :)
-
I am with Westerport Dog Odeiencee Club, our club rooms are at the Park, we train Tues nights & Sun mornings :D Oh lord just picked up another 2 ppl with Whippets that have asked me to help them train  one whippet has no probs with the bike just the handler very unfit  the other whippet will take a bit of work, never been near a bike. I have read the thread of introducing a dog to the bike so I have taken it onboard & will work on them slowly & sedately with a bit of style

I have just been serverly corrected by my daughter, our kennel name was 1st on our list not 11th, bad me I am now helping 2 ppl to sort out names for their choices of kennel names, I am taking on board & told them to choose at least 50 names ( I know the no. soounds a bit overboard but after reading what SS has just been through, ) I would do that no. :)
