yes Justrace on John st, most of the ground will have carnival rides, they are looking for a more carnival atmosphere, yes it is the old Footy ground I have attached an article I found in ref to it http://pakenham.starcommunity.com.au/gazette/2013-07-10/show-and-tell/ even though it does not mention excatlly where the dogs will be I was told it will be on the fire training track that runs along John st that will be a million dollar question on car parking, I shall keep my ears to the ground on this one.

heard on the weekend that the dog show section of the Pakenham Agricultural Show 2014 will be held on the Fire brigade training ground next year, Not at the Racecourse my sources came from a committee member or should I say now EX committee member, as they just resigned due to this kind of upheaval from the new committee. All the art works eg: flower displays, paintings, photography crafts are now going to be at the Pakenham Hall, have no idea where anything else will be like the horses, cattle etc All I can say next year could be a shamozle with trying to park car/trailers on the road, I doubt there will be enough room for Gazzebo's once the rings are set up, no driving stakes into the ground due to being Bitumen.

It is confirmed the President of Bairnsdale KC received the letter from Dogs Vic & now they will be running a double show next year & every year after

Bairnsdale KC will be looking at starting earlier time on Saturday East Gippsland KC already do this as they run on Friday & Sunday I have have already put these points to the committee :) & they like it The committee of Bairnsdale KC have put in to DV a letter of request to run a double show on the Saturday, as soon as it is confirmed I have been ask to announce it here, so fingers crossed Dogs VIc will approve it

they are looking at keeping the Friday as is, 11am start. Sat looking at starting at little earlier to be able to do the double & try not to have to use the Flood lights Sun as is thank you Tambaqui I shall pass on the compliment :) even though I am not on the committee I still help out with the organizing the run sheets & doing the after show paperwork that has to be done, long hours after showing during the day for all of us, not just showing my guys but also handling one of the committee's members dogs as well :) The committee for Bairnsdale & East Gippsland show are small & they do appreciate all the help they can get, stewards, ticket/card writers etc etc

I have been asked "Are your dogs Greyhound puppies & why aren't they wearing muzzles" also "how about feeding the poor skinny dogs" I have Whippets you so & so people can be so think headed my friends have Staffies they are great little bulldozers

yes 4 shows in 3 days Friday 1 show Sat 2 shows Sun 1 show I was asked by a couple of the committee members my thoughts of it & if I had any suggestions, so if anybody has suggestions please let me know & I can pass them onto the committee :)

no's are in the post, if they were not collected at Maffra show's, they were put in the post Sun night waiting to hear of the breakdown of the groups bring on the Whippy's we have all five of ours in :) better make sure the runners are packed :laugh: no pappy this year, I will be tooooo flaming buggered in running with these speed freaks :laugh: will be great to catch up with you again Haredown & Monet & Diva's mum :)

cant really help with Ticks, but with fleas we use good old Baby Powder from the supermarket, sprinkle on dogs a couple of days a week, we also use baby powder on their beds :) We also recommended it to a breeder friend & they now swear by it now

a little brag here, our boy Orlando gained 2 passes in Rally Obedience Advance A class yesterday :D he only now needs 1 more pass to get his Title of RA so pleased he also gained his CD title back in March

a sighting was made there was a 4x4 picked a dog near where the accident happend, hopefully if it is one of the missing, hopefully the people do the right thing & take it to the vets to be checked
