  1. That is so beautiful. RIP Rocco, your photo's will be missed by everyone.
  2. Both are huge fruit and veg eaters. Carter LOVES figs. I had a fig tree in my last house and he would spend hours picking out ones to eat on the ground.
  3. Nup, my boy has a girly bark and is a very soft dog. My girl has the bigger bark and is a rough nut.
  4. She is such a cutie... Will be in Adelaide staying a few blocks away from you in a couple of weeks, might just have to go door knocking down your street.
  5. I used them for behaviour issues and did have some improvement but was unable to continue due to financial reasons. I really liked their holistic and caring approach. Another natural vet that I have had success with is www.greenpet.com.au

  7. 3 months out I would not risk it. Have picked up 2 for the price of 1 before that were a week or two away from being out of date and no issues with it.

  9. My vet back home was like that. I would often get a discount or not be charged at all.
  10. Not a dog but had my cat put down at home. She hated the car so really did not want her last few moments doing something she hated.
  11. It is up to me to protect my dog. There was a reason why none of the trainers would let my ex friends dog play at off lead time at dog training. Was nice and gave in over the christmas break and my lovely playing dog has never been the same since. 6 years on and one of the trainers still tells me it was a stupid move.
  12. So so sorry. Hugs to you and your family. RIP Kapper
  13. I will only use a house sitter or in - home care for my terrors. With 2 dogs I find it cheaper then most kennels. Have used Top Dog minders in Sydney and Holiday Heaven 4 hounds (I think, was years ago) on the central coast. I can not fault either, both times dogs came back happy and healthy. From what I understand my female spent the time on the carers lounge with her son while on the central coast, which would have suited her down to the ground.
  14. Yep me too I will only go away if my daughter can look after the dogs. Hmmmm I once house sat for a lovely couple with 5 beautiful dogs and 1 cat, I was give 7 pages of typed instructions for 3 days and post-it notes on the floor so I knew where each dog ate!!!!
  15. Thank you! I know what I'll be making for Christmas Your welcome, glad you enjoyed them. Me took, they were yummy. hehe I have been making them for years now, so am sick of them. So now I love making them as I don't eat that many, just one or two out of the 100. I will be making more tomorrow or Friday to have here with shortbread for chrissy. Great little presents for people that just drop in.

  17. Christmas Cookies 250g butter 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 cup caster sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 3 ½ cups self raising flour - sifted ½ chopped macadamia nuts 1 packet white chocolate chips 1 packet crasins Beat butter, vanilla and sugars till smooth. Add egg, one at a time beat until combined. Stir in flour, nuts, chocolate and crasins. Roll teaspoons of mixture into balls. Place balls about 4 cm’s apart on greased trays. Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on trays. Makes over 100 depending on how much dough you eat....... Other options 1 - Replace the macadamia nuts with pistachios 2 - A packet of milk chocolate chips, a packet of white chocolate chips and ½ cup walnuts. 3 - Feel free to use any combination of chocolate, nuts and dried fruit.
