Good Quality Dry Food In Different Sizes.
Sezy replied to leopuppy04's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I know that you can get the Nutrience in different sizes. Last time that I got it, it came with a free smaller size bag but as they did not have the medium breed size they gave me the free bag in small dog and I was told that it is the same just smaller biscuits for smaller mouths. -
If it is what I am thinking of it has been around for years. I had it for my cocker as it was what they were feeding him at the pound but he never liked it. Mind you over the years I think that I have only ever found one or two different dried foods that he will eat!

Lab cross gets 1.5 cups and BC gets 2 heap cups of nutrience
-
I like to cover the metal ones as it is then more of a cave for them so that they feel save, however my boy does have a habbit of pulling what ever is on the crate into it!

Poor little guy......
-
There is a place in Hornsby that sells it but I don't know the details, I think there is information on the nutro site.
-
So I still have all this to look forward too. At 12 months so far beds and other animals are safe!!!!
-
Damn was looking at another brand that had a free bin!!!! When I move i will give the Nutro a try but at the moment I travel 20 hours a week, so an hour return trip for the Nutrience is enough for me.
-
heheheh but do you get a free rug with it!!!!!
-
lol I'll take one of me on it and one of the fur kids enjoying the free rug!!!!
-
I'll take a photo and send it!!!!!!
-
I was wanting to put mine on to Nutro but it is hard to buy. I have found that nutrience is really good both have glossy, soft coats and smaller poo's. Hehehe just went and got another 20kg bag of Nutrience and there was a sign saying free travel rug. The girl that served me was like would you like it. Ummm yes!!!! I have just paid over $100 for the food I want my rug!!!!!

New Job And The Dog Is Not Happy...
Sezy replied to gemibabe's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Trust me it breaks my heart, the hours that I am gone they are not even walked during the week but I need to work to pay the bills and I am hoping to move soon but even then they will still be home for long hours but at least I can then walk them morning and night. I always thought that my new one was the problem child but with watching them I know that they are both in it together. Not sure as to the ring leader. I have called my youngest ones breeder a few times upset that i am a bad mummy cause i leave them for so long during the day and they were getting out as well and they laughed at me for stressing so much!!!! I have also only just found out that he was the naughtiest puppy they ever had. (he is a show flop, so rehomed at 9 mths). All you can do is try and walk them as often as possible and leave things for them to do. My girl has issues with food too but with really big bones they are fine, stuffed kongs are also good but i have also now gotten over all the things that they are destroying and just clean it all up once a week. I also wear them out as much as possible on the weekend too. -
New Job And The Dog Is Not Happy...

I am at a new job too and am gone 13 hours a day. I now have pot holes all over my yard and only one pot plant aside from the ones that are hanging and many different chewed objects around my yard!!!! -
Pet barn also has as an inside loo thing for dogs, costly but may be an option. I think that there is something on there web site for it.
-
It will be less then $90 at dollar save for the crate. The people that work there are really nice and helpful and will carry the stuff to your car!!!! I used to like that part. Also a book called the kiss guide to raising a puppy has a really good section on crate training.

Dollar Save Pet & Produce Pty Ltd 6 Botham Cl Charmhaven 2263 (02) 4392 6743 It is just near the lakehave shopping centre, the crates that they have are cheap. Carter my BC has bent all the wire in the one that I got from there. It still does the job, but for a smaller dog I am sure that it would be ok. What is the Dollar Save near Lakehaven.? Is that what I look up in the phone book, I'm at Lakehaven only recently moved here and I don't know the area all that well
-
Where on the central coast are you? There is Dollar Save near lakehaven. PetBarn at Gosford. Ebay, stacks of doggie sites, pet shops and even some junk/discount stores have them. House 2 Home at Woy Woy has canvas ones at the moment.

I went looking for the thread and can't find it now. I will keep an eye out for it. How are you going with the communication thing????
-
How are you going Kozpink? I saw the rescue thread with the 2 dogs named after you. hehehe The only thing that has been named after me was a gold fish!!!!
-
hehehe Cally had grown out of it too, then I added Carter. Poor plants have no chance now! Cally helping to pot plants! Can you see the grass, it was there at one stage! These were all taken 3 years ago, I am still to get a pic of Carter helping!
-
My lab cross as a puppy ate all my ex's chilli plants! A little unit looked really funny with the mass of plants at the front as it was the only safe place from her. Now 2 of the plants that i saved from her have now been done by Carter. I am just scanning some photo's now!!!!
-
Lots of holes, ready for when i want to put plants in. They also worry about safety and have made sure all of my pots are now nice and light to pick up with no plants in them!!!! And any that are not plastic they have made nice and small. They also worry about water, now that we all have to watch what we use and I only have 4 plants left!!!
