A friends husband did a tour in Iraq, and he showed me some (illegal) video he had shot while over there. I was shocked, it was like surreal, a complete other world. The way our soldiers live and so on is just impossible to describe. They dont have any days off, they work everyday. If they have an hour to spare they might go shoot stuff for practise. In the time he was there there were something like 21 artilary strikes on the base. They would have to run and hide in these shelters until they were given the all clear. n He told me how teenagers could launch a rocket at the base just using a scrap of metal to fire from. I have nothing but admiration for the men and women who serve. I think its fantastic Andrew has Dimples to look forward to coming home to!

You can get a weak positive with Relaxin that doesn't mean your bitch is def in whelp, so will require a further relaxin test in another week or so to try and get a stronger positive.

Still thinking of you Jed. Great they will make the pressure suit more comfortable for you. Ive seen how tight those things are and know I would hate to have to wear one. Excellent you will have another laptop courtesy of Ker -
This is the model I buy for around $70 AUD delivered linky there is an explanation of how they work on that link too.

I buy the blue Innotek waterproof ones for that from a american seller on ebay. it takes about 7-10 days to arrive though. I have bought about 6 of them so far. ETA I need waterpoof ones as my dogs are all waterbabies and should have been born with gills! Think the seller is called paysnpay

My dogs had never been around cats, until I got 2 kittens 18 months ago. I now have 4 cats and the golden retriever and kelpie cross get on fine with them. One of the cats regularly sleeps cuddled up with the golden. I also have 4 iggies and while they are mildy curious about the cats they also get along with them. The kelpie cross seeks out the cats to play with them. I can safely leave the dogs and cats in the house unsupervised.

Youm will probably find that breeders all charge around the same price for puppies. If youa re willing to looka t a teenage or adult dog then the price should be more negotiable. Good luck!

Gawd Jed how did you survive that fire? The thought of you running back in to a fire that big to save your dogs is scary. -

Always makes my day when I see you have posted Jed You are never far from my thoughts you know, every day I think often of you and wonder how you are doing. While the pressure suits would be a nightmare to wear you have to admit they are a real fashion statement lol. My friends son had to wear one on his face for a year or so. I was always amazed how tight it was - but i guess thats the whole idea. Wrapt to hear you are keeping your boxer pup. -
I bought a separate secure dog run from NFS, had concrete laid to put it on and attached a steel roof but I actually took it down as I never used it lol. I bought it to use when I had a bitch in season. What ive ended up doing though is just keeping the bitch inside. I bring the boys inside and crate them when I let the bitch outside to go to the loo. Works well for me as I can come home for lunch every day during the working week.

Large Dogs And Small Dogs Living Together?
indigirl replied to ash&elar's topic in General Dog Discussion
My backyard is fenced into two separate yards. One yard is for the 4 iggies plus any foster iggies. The other yard has the bigger dogs - a kelpie cross, a golden retriever and a staghound cross. Both yards have half of the back verandah each, plenty of shelter plus warm kennels. Both have shadesails for the hotter weather, plus a dog pool - clamshell for the iggies, and a stock watering trough for the bigger dogs. I never let the bigger dogs out with the iggies, too much potential for injury. They interact with each other thru the mesh fencing and all seem to get along. When in the house the iggies are crated, and i bring them into the loungeroom with me by twos. The bigger dogs are kept out of the loungeroom by a toddler gate. My dogs are all used to my routine where I let the bigger dogs out first in the mornings into their yard, then the iggies out 2nd. In the evenings the iggies come in first etc. By keeping the bigger dogs separate from the smaller ones I havent had one injury. Its a minor hassle I guess, but more than worth it. I had all the fencing etc done prior to getting my first iggy. -
Whats to bet this idiot also has young children and plans to have her large aggressive bullmastiff around her kids..

Gross as it is its actually more common than ppl think. Years ago I was working in the Courts at Newcastle and a woman was applying for an AVO against her husband who she has caught having sex with their poodle.. another time i had to make a report to rspca and police about a young man who was having sex with his bullterrier. I was working in Newcastle and had been told about this guy and his dog in the course of my work.
