If You Were Choosing A Breed On Looks Alone...

I did all breeds rescue for 2 yrs, and I still don't know what breed to get lol

Whippet  Yeah have considered a whippet, but they aren't much different to iggies show wise. Really want something diffetent to what I have already.
-
I have the opposite problem! I currently have 3 breeds plus 2 crossbreed dogs but can't decide what breed I want my next showdog to be! I will keep breeding and showing my iggies but want another breed to show. There are breeds that I would live to own. But they wouldn't be a good fit for my household. I'm finding it frustrating trying to find a breed that ticks all my boxes.

I have a 6 yr old golden retriever, a 7 yr od kelpe x, a 3 year old Wolfe x, an 8 month old boxer and a herd of Italian greyhounds. As of a week ago I also have 4 iggy puppies.

Think mine took a couple of months (I'm in NSW) but it was a bit of circus. First they sent me the certificate with my prefix on it (it was my 2nd choice) and all seemed five. Amontn or so later I went to renew my membership and discovered a typo in my prefix on the renewal thingy. I called Dogs NSW and asked them to check the spelling of my prefix and that's when it got wierd. I was told that none of my choices had been approved.. So I asked about the certificate they set me and "oops sorry that was a mistake" .. So I had a prefix certificate that meant nothing. I was told to submit another 10 choices and with the help of some ceative ppl on DOL I submitted another 10. I was mighty annoyed with Dogs NSW for the stuff up, as I had bought a domain name etc after being tod the prefix had been approved. Amazingly with my grumblings ringing in their ears they were able to approve a prefix from my 2nd lot of choices in about 4 days! So I have two kennel prefixes certifcates on umy wall now LOL.

Head Of The Piaa Caught In The Act.

I have to wonder if the OP has ever encountered a feral cat in real life, they are not sweet cuddly creatures at all. I have 6 indoor cats myself and I love them, but they are so different to feral cats they seem Ike a different species. Hunting is a sport, I've hunted in years gone by for roos, feral goats and rabbits. Loved it. I still love seeing experienced hunting dogs working together to bring down an animal much bigger than they are and quite capable of killing them. I live out west where feral animals are a huge problem. I have NO issue with ppl hunting them, or with them hunting other animals for food for themselves or their dogs. I mean is the OP against fishing as well? I have to say tho i think it's much easier to be anti hunting when you live in the city and don't ever actually encounter feral animals or witness the destruction they've caused. I don't have an issue with the pic myself. Hunters are allowed to enjoy the success of their hunt. -
To be fair I dont think the intention by the aforementioned poster was to harass others, just think some parents are SO into being parents they cannot accept/ understand anyone who isn't. They kinda get tunnel vision about it. Personally I'd rather swallow razor blades than have a child lol. Thank god I'm almost beyond the age where it's a possibility. Being a parent is a lifestyle choice, and it has never been a lifestyle that's appealed to me .. Shudders.

I don't have kids, but I love my friends kids. I like most kids but some I have to admit I just can't warm to. I find it amusing that some ppl who are parents get offended when they meet someone who isn't into kids. Why should I have to like every kid I meet? I don't expect everyone to love my dogs. I accept that some ppl can't stand dogs. I think it's the same with kids. some ppl don't like kids. Just because YOU think your little snowflake is the 2nd coming.. Doesn't mean the rest of us do. Sitting next a baby on a long haul flight would be a bloody nightmare, sorry but even if it's a cute sweet kid it would STILL be a nightmare. A baby will cry and whine, and puke, and poo, especially when they are bored and not allowed to move around. Why would anyone WANT to sit next to that for hrs and hrs on end? Long haul flights suck even without a baby nearby. I can't believe that the OP was offended someone didn't want to sit next to her baby LOL. Sure the lady could have been more polite about it, but I don't blame her for not wanting to sit next to you.

Few years ago my dogs all went nuts about 3am one night, I heard voices in the lane beside my house and told the dogs to shut up and iwent back to sleep. Found out 2 days later a young girl had been sexually assaulted in the lane outside my house that night around that time So now I never ignore the dogs when they go off.

Kirty I think the problem in the ring is that chocolate dogs don't have black noses they have a liver nose? And this is a no no I believe. I may be wrong tho lol.

Cocker spaniels Some breeders charge more for certain colors, usually colors that are considered rare.
-
Lyndsay going by her size I'm guessing around 6 pups. She was bred to a fawn pied dog so that mating can only produce blue and/or fawn pups with varying amounts of white. But fawn can mean blue fawn, red fawn etc so there's quite a colour range within fawn.

My very pregnant Italian greyhound girl, taken yesterday at 57 days

Lyndsay that pup is going to be a very content little chubba having the whole milk bar to herself. Sorry to hear none of the others made it but best if luck with this little girl

I have a storm phobic golden. When there's a storm I put her thunder shirt on her, give her some rescue remedy and lock her in a crate then basically ignore her.Initially it took her a while to settle and I usually had to throw a blanket over the crate as well. After several years of doing this however, she rarely needs the thunder shirt and I only give rescue remedy if it's a really bad storm. All I need to do is lock her in a crate and she settles immediately.
