  1. They were good kiddies :D And the judges agreed with you coz we won ;) The rump covers ( Or quarter sheets as the real ones are called :D ) were fancy dress  They were made out of shower curtains and then trimmed with gold piping and diamantes to make them look "regal", the ponies had tassles hanging from the bit as well. We were Shrek and Princess Fiona but only put the ogre helmets on we didn't bother with the tunics and masks. If the original rider had done it they would have though :D
  2. I will need to do it from home as I can't access YouTube on my work computer :p I am guessing you mean the one with the two horses in together? Gotta love doing a Pas De Deux in competition with the two horses never having worked together before (I was a last minute fill in). Good thing they love each other
  3. Things seem to have been very quiet on here at the moment. Not just in the WA thread but others as well. Nothing much to report from me though other than I have stupidly entered shows on both days this weekend It always seems like a good idea at the time At least they are holding neuter classes
  4. OK I blame it on tiredness... but if you call him Mister you then have Mister Whippy  Ok, crawling back under my rock now
  5. They want you to go in and find the correct catalogue page yourself usually. Or at least when I rang up and asked they said I had to come in and do it myself.
  6. Well done to Trixie AP! I can't wait until we get night trials as well. Really they should come into effect for both shows and trials after the Royal.
  7. The one and only time I have been to Tasmania we had to put up with 40C weather - and no airconditioning Yay to having a house! Hopefully it all goes to plan :) Welcome and remember to post photos :D Can't help with a vet sorry, but will they do 3 year vaccines on puppies or do they tend to wait until the 16 month booster?
  8. What is Canberra Royal like? As in set up, ease of getting to and around the grounds etc? I am thinking of coming over this year if we can get decent airfare prices so am curious about what it is like.
  9. I added one of the Cloud collars to my list and will be very interested to see what it is like as it looks like a much more comfortable alternative to an Elizabethan collar! I ended up putting in a few extra toys for Christmas presents as well
  10. Well I am up to $120 in 5 minutes and haven't even gotten through the whole list
  11. My dogs love their skineez toys! I have some that are a couple of years old which are still going strong ;) Mine are massive toy destroyers though unless it is a stuffed toy
  12. So which dog can you prefix with BISS though, WX? <G>
  13. Well done to all the winners :) Particular congratulations to Hudson for his great results
  14. Perth Training and Obedience Dog Club obedience is held in Vic Park on Wednesday evenings :) So when you are looking for something past puppy preschool look there :) And remember... photos are a must
  15. We often go off topic on here :D Although since the topic is WA DOLers as long as it affects one of us (or a dog originating from WA or one of those who wish they lived in WA :D) it is technically on topic ;) Why don't you tell him to find out how much money the job is worth? For all he knows it is the same or better
  16. I would have it set up for horses as well so would want a reasonable sized block - in fact the 100 acres I have now would be fine just set up how I want it Indoor arena so I can train both horses and dogs whatever the weather :D I would set up a few 1/4 acre lawned areas for the dogs to be in so they can be separated as needed but still have plenty of room and a kennel area to make it easier for someone else to look after them when we go away. Lawned outside agility area and a groundsman to look after it all! Dog wise I would stay with the breeds I have now but would import a Finnish Lapphund of different lines :)
  17. On hot days you will always run the risk of snakes around watering holes. I know Carine has had a snake problem in the past.
  18. Seems like it has disappeared from the results page! Hopefully so they can fully update it with the missing results.
  19. There was an entry of 40 shelties from approx 180 total entries! If the lovely lady had short hair it was my Mum :) I am always busy at shows :p
  20. Veteran's is done as a sweepstake class after Group specials each day with the winners all going back on General Specials day to compete for Veteran in Show. It is usually reasonably well supported although usually by dogs who are still competing in the normal classes too. I got told by the steward last year that my old girl should have been entered in a breed class as well even though it says Neuters are allowed to compete (which our girl at 10.5yo was!) This year entries are Group 1: 7 with 6 breeds represented; Group 2: 6 with 4 breeds represented; Group 3: 8 with 4 breeds represented; Group 4: 8 with 4 breeds represented; Group 5: 11 with 5 breeds represented; Group 6: 10 with 7 breeds represented; Group 7: 6 with 5 breeds represented. The Group 5 winner was the Best In Group winner Gr Ch Borderfame Moon Dancer AD JDX who is an 11 year old! And who I would think is now eligible for her Supreme Champion title :D
  21. And you didn't introduce yourself Weasels! Although even if you had I probably wouldn't have remembered LOL Banjo certainly likes handing out kisses :p I think I should haved charged 20c a kiss and I would have been rich at the end of yesterday :D Agility tomorrow... assuming my mare doesn't foal! 2 weeks late now and she usually goes a day or 2 either side of her "due" date! At least she didn't set the alarm off last night so I got an uninterupted night sleep! This was the Kelpie bench at the Royal :) Jive had to be crated due to being in season and Banjo wouldn't settle so he was crated too :)
  22. Kelari looks like she has bulked up heaps! Oh and RS, in case you see that Emery received her tickets and you haven't that is because I had hoped to get to training last night - until I went out to check on my mare and then couldn't stop coughing for a while
