  1. I hope it continues to be and I would dummy enter my dogs to show my support. However I think I will be really into showing at the WC this year as licnoln will probably title there! Ooh exciting I don't know what I am going to do at the WC this year. Might see where the judges are from before making a decision since my show dogs are rejects atm and I doubt I would have a new puppy by then But then again I don't know how many agility dogs I will have as they might be out on maternity duty Nice relaxing weekend at home and just take Varda for the obedience (and Banjo for obedience and agility if I get my act together!)?
  2. Just read the new decisions about the WC obedience! vCBR, obedience at the WC has been quite well supported at previous years - or at least in 2009 when I last looked at a schedule (I didn't do agility this year) there were lots of people entered!
  3. That sounds a bit better thanks  And your keyboard must have been playing up so that the 5 didn't go on after the 2
  4. I'll have another go 2 Have you left a number off that 2 doesn't sound right given how many Lappies one particular DOLer was washing the other day Oh, and Lappies are the Finnish ones
  5. Yay Lappy Day  Can one of you wonderful people please tell me how many Lappies are entered?
  6. If you only have one dog you share. For medium size dogs the space is split up into 3 sections - so just under 1m wide per dog. No idea how much room they would give a Rotty - I would assume at most it would be split into 2
  7. I actually have no idea who removed it I could guess a few from the agility community who would have been all for it though, or the showing mob since agility brings in more money for DogsWest purely due to numbers.
  8. Don't forget the State Champs However the agility people where asked to give a show of hands at the Gosnell's trial about giving up the extra day of agility to have the obedience back on and everyone agreed - so the obedience event at the WC has the support from the agility community :D Now it is up to the Showies on the committee... (I can say that as I fall in all three camps - well sort of in obedience - I will compete eventually )
  9. It would be nice if all the dog events were together. As it is at the moment you can't do both agility/obedience and showing on the one day... and they like having working dogs shown on the same day as one of the sporting events No horses for me on Sunday... one year I did show both horses and dogs on the same day but never again Will be cheering on a friend's horse though :D And going to visit him in the stable Instead I will have Banjo, Boots and Asha to play with :D
  10. I haven't brushed mine so don't know how much they are shedding Actually now that I think about it Kinta is though... Washed a friend's dog for her last weekend too which made her coat blow Ended up blowdrying half her coat out :D The show dogs (including my crew and OzJen's Jenna) will be near gate 1. The obedience dogs are on the opposite side of the grounds near the alpacas... http://www.perthroyalshow.com.au/your-day-...w/show-map.aspx If you look at the map the show dogs are where the dog pic is and the obedience dogs are where the PIG is
  11. So we will be good ambassadors for the Aussie Shepherds then will we?
  12. Can't wait to see baby photos ST Ptolomy a question for you I showed a friend your video of Beans and she wanted to know if you demonstrate what you want the same way when it is a dumbell retrieve?
  13. Very well done He certainly looks like a very handsome boy
  14. pmsl, that was great Helimonkey Is he one of yours? he's gorgeous No not one of mine... he lives in Queensland He is a very spunky boy though and one of his sons lives in WA
  15. I thought you guys might appreciate this: Giant dog?
  16. Oh I just watched Beans' video! What a brilliant drop
  17. Yaya :D Remember the puppy pictures Is he coming on a Qantas or a Virgin flight? Qantas flights come into the Australian Air Express terminal and Virgin flights to the Virgin freight terminal which are pretty well opposite the road from each other They are off Boud Avenue Turn left onto Boud from Ross Drive ;) AAE is then on your right and Virgin is a bit further down on your left ;)
  18. I will have to watch Beans' video when I get home Amy, have you asked your brother about the weaves yet? ;)
  19. Exact dimensions are a few posts ago but benches are 1m deep and up to 2.75m wide. It would be split into 2 or 3 for your guys most likely 2. The railings are moveable and generally set so that you can have a trolley set inside the barrier and still squeeze past (just!)
  20. While I haven't gone to either club I have heard good things about Southern River and Gosnells Clubs :p Also you can start puppy classes for agility at ACWA as well if you wanted to. Contacts for all of the ANKC affiliated clubs are at http://www.dogswest.com/... then click on the "clubs" link on the left hand side of the page :D
  21. Oh and I forgot to say as well... Happy Birthday SparkyTansy :D
  22. I would hate for someone to get me a dog as a suprise gift! I have very definite view on what I want in a puppy and have a hectic lifestyle so don't always have time available to devote to a puppy. I have had someone give me a pony as a suprise gift... the day I had convinced my parents to let me start looking for my next horse - the pony was the complete opposite to what I would have gotten myself but there was nothing I could do about it as she was a gift
  23. I seriously can't believe you consider 65yos senior citizens My father is only a few years shy of that and my mother is not much behind him and they are both extremely active people. However any live animal is not suitable as a suprise gift. However if you want to offer to help your parents find a dog as a present to them by all means do so I would let them have the final choice in dog though :D
  24. Hi my name is Mirawee and I am a Cleanrun addict I have just bought 2 DVDs, a cool coat and 9 toys from the free shipping section :D And have added about 8 DVDs to my wishlist But hey, the Australian dollar is at a near record high
  25. Possibly not She doesn't do obedience for me at all! LOL
