Mine just happens to be on the lounge next to me PT&ODC 6/11 - closing date Monday 25th October WCRC 13/11 - closing date Monday 25th October SRAODC 27/11 - closing date Monday 15th November I assume you don't want the one in Albany? Thank you So I have until Friday to decide whether to enter Banjo on the 13th... And you are quite correct, I am not planning on going down to Albany The last time I tried (quite a few years ago now!) our car died less than an hour from Armadale in an area of no reception That has scarred me

Welcome to the WA thread Simple Simple has good taste as she has ponies too... although her ponies are of the kind who run fast and win her money RS, mine just go on the couch whenever they want I have a leather lounge for that reason (plus they ate the last one and this one was cheap at a swap meet The arm has been eaten off this one but it hasn't gotten worse for a while ) Does anyone have a Canine News handy? I need to find mine If so, can you please tell me the closing dates for the agility trials in November

And lot of healing vibes being sent your way. What a very scary thing to happen

Katie, he is gorgeous His white socks are especially cute

Has your Mum been given firm instructions to keep her eye on Cider? Exciting times for Strauss' debut (you will have to give exact dates so his cheer squad can be there ). Toller runoffs!
-
You're a handbag slut I am sure you will enjoy your holiday though How long until Strauss has his showring debut? ETA: Hmm, how long are you gone? Cider might get lonely... ;)

Lovely photo RSG! Staffy are one of the cuter breeds of puppies I think we should have cut our hay earlier I assumed showers meant slight rain not torrential downpours! Oh well it was only cut yesterday so still green enough that the rain shouldn't matter regardless of how much we get
-
I was happy with Banjo's go on the contacts given he hasn't been near them since May Night trials are good :D
-
We only did the end of the dog walk No, I have other things on next weekend :D Plus it is too hot for day trials now. I have the November trials on the 2nd and 4th weekend.
-
None of mine have birthday's coming up soon ... although Kinta turns 9 on the 18th December And Banjo is 3 at the end of January :D Only one more show at intermediate for him I think LOL. After how good Banjo was doing the jumps at training yesterday I am tempted to enter him in Novice again at the next trials as well...
-
:D to Simple I look forward to seeing photos of your new pup soon and make sure you come and visit us in the WA thread They don't even mind if you post pony photos in there We sold a Lappy puppy to Cairns and they did the same thing with the kennel Although I think Cain is in the house more often than in the kennel

Competing At Ccd After 3 Passes Gained
mirawee replied to SmoothieGirl's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
If you get your title after close of entry you have every right to compete in CCD at the next trials. You aren't stopping others from getting passes by entering :D In WA entries tend to close on Mondays and trial secretaries are often good at letting people ring up and change their class just at or after entries have closed if they gain a title on the weekend prior to COE. Of course you can't compete at the new level until you have applied for your title though! -
I am not saying Mason is fat :D Banjo isn't either except to die hard performance people In the photo you posted you can see the tuck behind Mason's ribs but it probably isn't a brilliant photo to look at for an idea on weight as he looks like his coat is wet and so it isn't sitting flat :D In fact my post was more to highlight the different way's people perceive the weight on the same dog Tiggy, your Banjo is a fatty too maybe it has something to do with the name
-
Aussielover, I fully agree that a guidedog shouldn't toilet while in harness. But it is interesting that the instructors don't want to let you toilet the dogs on lead at all! As has been said there are times when it isn't safe to let them off lead to toilet I would have thought just not letting them toilet without a cue would be the better option? My dogs toilet in public but generally on cue. I have one bitch who will always doing a number 2 on arrival at a show/trialing ground. And my kelpie boy will only ever do a number 2 in public if he can't hold on any more.
-
Banjo's ribs can still be easily felt His waist just isn't as tucked in atm as I would like LOL. As to the judge that said he needed more weight... he needed to bulk out but not with fat Fat can hide a multitude of conformational sins as well
-
Happy birthday Scoota Well done to everyone on their weekend results... particulalry Cider's brilliant CD debut! Mason2009, Bedazzled told me to get some weight off Banjo on Friday I did point out it was not that long since the Royal It is fun trying to juggle show and performance sports I have performance people telling me Banjo is too fat and have had a judge (who was non-awarding dogs for being overweight!) tell me Banjo needed a bit more weight on Since I have no idea when Banjo's next show is he can get down to performance trim now

Amaya decided early on that feed time is a good time to do zoomies The first few days her mum, Abbey, had to leave her feed and follow her, but over the last couple of days she has given up and just keeps and eye on her (as you can see from the clip). Give it another few weeks and she won't even bother doing that
-
Too many cute puppy photos again guys Paddy, Shimi and Lincoln look great And just because this clip cracks me up each time I watch it: . Clip is of my latest foal at 5 days old (some of you may have seen it on my FB page :D )
-
Yay Lincoln I know what you mean about fundraising trials as well I think half of Banjo's class in group wins (and he hasn't had that many) have been when there is no ribbon! Including his first one too. I am sure Lincoln will get a fringy soon though :D
-
Is the lesson with bedazzled? Did you bribe her with Kelpie cuddles . The thought of Kelpie Kisses might have helped :p Amypie, no secret coz I posted on here asking if she would do private lessons I am having them with someone who appreciates Kelpies Hopefully she won't take one look at us and throw her hands up in disgust
-
OzJen, I am sure you will have a lot of luck both little and big at Bunbury Hmm, maybe next year I will join you smart lot down at obedience :p Will see if Banjo likes private lessons today

Can you imagine a pap running over jumps with a tennis ball in his mouth? Would he even weigh enough to set off the ball machine?
-
Nothing wrong with a mini pony  As long as you also have a small dog to make the jumps small So we have Banjo, Millie, Lincoln and ??? I would say Trixie but she isn't a shortass And could you imagine Trixie and Banjo off lead at the same time? What about my Banjo Actually when I saw you had posted I suddenly thought that a Staffy could count as a small dog But then I remembered that your Banjo isn't a small ass either Oh well, the more the merrier ;)
