  1. I go to a place in Midland and pay around $35 for a wash and cut :D Want to come for a drive?
  2. The kittens are nearly as big as the Cav :D What a good mother she is though
  3. That is because we all talked too much the last couple of days Bedazzled your boy is soo cute! Will be be there tomorrow night? Emery, your crew look great... although they don't look that impressed having their photos taken - particularly whichever girl (assuming it is Kelari) has her face in the sun :D
  4. Banjo sure does have a lot of girlfriends, doesn't he Trixie just lurves him, and she always loves Jenna too, even if Jenna kept trying to push her underneath for a drink since she is puppy sized in her opinion I think Banjo likes it that all the other DOLer dogs at training are girls, except for Kyzer who doesn't want the girls anyway and Jasper who is as big as Banjo's head so beneath his notice ;)
  5. Banjo was a happy boy yesterday ;) After Abbey jumping him and OzJen's foot he thought the Lab girls were pretty special, and is always up for some fun with Trixie He was shaking his head occasionally though so I definitely think his ears need checking on Friday. Oh and this heat is bad! I had a headache after feeding the ponies last night which is why I needed to cool down ;) I would love the summer length of day with low to mid 20s please
  6. Well I still plan on going to training tonight but will be leaving a bit later now... it is so hot outside today I need to cool down after feeding ponies before racing off to training LOL
  7. Could be that :D I have noticed it for a while but wondered if I was imagining it. But then when Mum came home from Singapore on Sunday and visited she said the same thing. He isn't sick, just "off" and he had lots of fun helping feed again yesterday - he hasn't been allowed out for a while due to Asha being in season so he would run and visit her instead Maybe he just doesn't like summer ETA: Or maybe he is upset that he didn't get some action I will be there on Friday night too Playing with the Aussies and having a CCD go with Varda since I am thinking of entering her in the WC
  8. Come do at least 15 minutes RS Remember you are trialling this weekend :D Banjo will be at training but I think we will do more obedience stuff than any agility. He has been really quiet/depressed at home lately He is booked into the vet for hip/elbow xrays on Friday and I will get them to check his ears again and see if he has grass seeds down them again. Hopefully that is all the problem is.
  9. (((Hugs))) to Bondi. Although at least now that you know what is wrong you can manage her better My girls cock their legs more than Banjo does ;) All three girls do it and they all mark (not inside) where as Banjo can be a PITA to toilet as he has to read all the "roadsigns" and then doesn't always mark over the top of them! I will be there so I will motivate you to train agility Hmm, more information than we need on the forum I didn't know you two felt that way about each other I have 3GB and have only ever gone over it once! You are meant to gush about your dog ;) And she deserves gushing over :D My parents know that my house is usually not clean It only gets fully cleaned when visitor come over and I can't just take them to my parents house ;) The joys of having their house on the same property as mine :p
  10. Well we certainly haven't seen any evidence that he has any other bed provided to him
  11. What a mean Mum you are! 1) Why doesn't Bear have his own bed?? 2) How can you ruin your poor dogs "fun" just to take a photo?
  12. :D Otherwise known as bodytalk Not laughing at you, just love how you described it Laura is great Both my horses and dogs see her semi-regularly and occasionally we have time for me to have a bowen treatment too In fact last time she came out of 2 horses, 5 dogs and myself I was the one with the most muscle problems Hopefully it helps your boy
  13. Lovely kelpie baby Makes me want a new pup now though ;) Kelpie kisses are magical and Kelpie puppy kisses are even better I love the photo of Brookie doing guard duty :D Do you think he will be a good teacher ;)
  14. CC, poor Daisy I am sure she will be all better soon ;) Bedazzled is reading the thread so hopefully we will have some photos soon
  15. Th latest news is that the fire is contained and controlled Hopefully it stays that way
  16. We stayed in a short stay rental in Moonee Ponds to attend a dog show with an adult dog and a 4 month old pup, both long coated dogs. The owner was happy to have the dogs inside as long as they weren't on the furniture although did take an additional "pet bond" in case extra cleaning was required due to the dogs. The report we got when they inspected after we left was that they wished everyone left the house that tidy and so fully refunded our bond ;) I have never seen "Health Regulations" being given as the reason why dogs are not allowed though. In fact I don't think I have ever seen a reason being given!
  17. That's alright. I am probably a bit OTT on that subject as it came up on the horse forum I was on with people saying they should be let out. It is actually an offence to allow stock onto the roads during an emergency as the risk to emergency personnel is too high. Roads are closed to allow emergency vehicles clear access without worrying that they will hit someone - the last thing they need is to be rushing to an emergency and hit a loose horse or cow ;) Grass fires move quickly and while wide they are usually not that deep so stock can run back through.
  18. NOOOOO!!!!!! That is the last thing anyone should do ;) Horses actually have a fairly high survival rate if left in their own familiar environment. The horses would have turned and jumped back through the flames and except for being a bit singed should in theory be ok. The worst thing is the hot ground on the other side unless the horses have anything on. Although at times like this I am very thankful that my paddocks are pretty well bare in summer. By letting horses out of the paddock you run the risk of them bolting in front of an emergency vehicle when there is limited visibility
  19. There have been several fires in the same area as this big one over the last few weeks... and the majority have been started on a Monday around lunchtime! I know a few people around that area, and saw a terrifying photo of horses running in front of the flames ;) It is just surreal to think about the floods in Qld when we are facing fires over in WA ;)
  20. The floods are just surreal I feel so sad for everyone over there. As for the rain in WA. Elders long term says we may get some beginning of next week but nothing on the calendar until mid-Feb after that. But then they aren't that accurate either most of the time ;)
  21. Actually that is not correct. A lot of breeders put pups who are show quality on the limited register as they are going to a pet home. What might be a great pet home is not necessarily one that would be a great show home. If the owner decides prior to sterilizing that they would like to show and the breeder is happy that the pup is still show quality then it can be changed over.
  22. Is anyone on here down Lake Clifton way? If so I hope you are all good. Bad, bad fire down that way Homes have apparently been lost And it is deliberately lit
  23. You could always make a statement and wear a flashing headband
  24. I lose Millie in the dark I can spot Ruby easier Flashing collars work well Except when you have a dark long haired dog ;)
