RosieFT, that is a bit I have never seen then do a collapsible tunnel like that before (but then I haven't done that much research)! Only go through a deli curtain This is the main clip I have seen . And this one looks interesting too... they have a seesaw!

Yep, only just started in Australia Has been going on in other countries for a while though. Definitely a good one for all the liberty people to get involved in. Me, I don't think my ponies would see the point of it Although a few might be ok. Also I just can't be bothered trying to find time to teach all the liberty stuff! Will have to look at the how to train things later

You in am then up to me in pm Share and share a like And I have Mas all to myself anyway - but just putting the options out there since I will be making the ponies run around anyway Are you far from Upper Swan? Maybe I can invite myself along and visit your ponies, too ;) I think its prob about a half an hr or so .... Prob 35-40 mins if you don't know exactly where you are going and depending on what part of Upper Swan It is 30 mins from Brigadoon...

The Gosnells one is at Serpentine this year... I am too used to it being at Gosnells and didn't check before posting. I will let you know when they have their next show - they had one the weekend just gone. I know there is a Show Hunter comp there first Sunday in June - Diva was meant to go
-
Well there is a retrieving training day this Sunday the 8th in Upper Swan ;) Always makes interesting photography, at least in my view! Oops, I missed this bit off CCs post as well... I think Mas is coming up to my place on Sunday pm to photograph ponies for her assignment. You are welcome to join her

But not in the same State Which means 6 point CCs so 17 shows... which at WA's rate of 2-3 shows offering Neuter classes each year means she is unlikely to get her title prior to being retired ;) Although if we start getting good numbers maybe that will increase
-
Hills Kennel Club have Neuter Classes at their Champ show coming up as well Am hoping to enter Varda - just need to work on her coat some more (hate Lappy coat when they are desexed after they have their full adult coat )

Crate for the bedroom with him being lock up at night so he can't disturb the cats Are you planning on always keeping him and the cats seperate?
-
I searched for sensor dog doors and the first hit I got was this one: http://www.solopetdoors.com/features.htm and it specifically says keeps indoor cats inside They are in America but I am sure that there would have to be something similar in Australia!
-
I thought you can get ones that have a sensor that you attach to the collar. If the animal doesn't have the sensor on then the door won't open.

My brothers problem was when he was fairly young... and on the way home he seemed to be slipping back under! Needless to say they did a quick about turn and took him back to the hospital.
-
Maybe NRL supporters are only meant to own Chihuahuas Sorry no help but this thread made me as you wouldn't think it would be that hard! I also can't believe a 40cm is XL... that wouldn't fit a medium size dog!
-
CC, go onto Youtube and look up "horse agility" They have pretty well all the dog agility stuff except for seesaws just modified to be bigger Not something I am planning on getting into with my lot though ;) If you are going to have reactions to medications being around doctors is the best place to do it ;) I am sure you will be fine though as long as they are informed My brother has previously had bad reactions to full anaesthetics but was fine when he had an op of the beginning of the year

Team penning is a team of 3 riders attempting to get 3 cattle with the same colour collars out of a mob of aroung 21-30 head and into a small pen up the other side of an arena - all in less than 2 minutes and with no more than 5 head of cattle over the centre line at any one time Next one is in Bakers Hill starting 1pm on the 14th May (Diva is my usual cow pony but Folly - my showjumper - is filling in at the moment). Rodeos are held semi-regularly. Next one is 21st May indoors at Brigadoon. Brigadoon ODE is on that same weekend... dressage and some showjumping on the Sat and cross country and more showjumping on the Sun. Also that weekend - Sunday - is the first horse agility training session Hack Council Classic is also coming up - will find out the exact date for you. That is usually at Gosnells and is one of the bigger hack shows for the year You will find it quite different from the UK though, particularly the hunters. ETA: it is the 28/29 May and is down in Serpentine this year. Sat for the hunters and Sun for the show horses

Just ask me What type of events? Dressage, showjumping, hacking, cross country, games, campdrafting, team penning, breed shows (and specific breeds) etc, etc, etc. Also look on www.cavalletti.com.au they have an events page listing. Also www.stockyard.net have a forum with a showing section so most WA events are mentioned in there. The Weekend West (Saturday paper) has an Equestrian Notices section in the sport pages and a lot of shows are listed there. Um... Equestrian WA website (www.wa.equestrian.org.au). That should be a start Oh and yay about Indy's ultrasound Diva has her vet appointment booked for tomorrow week to try and figure out why she is still lame. Am wondering if I even want to know now that I have booked it

You can all come and watch Ameenah make a fool of me I am expecting her to take one look at the indoor arena and refuse to trot in there Nova's (the other filly I will have there) had her first show as a yearling with an international judge and they had a scary area in the centre for the ribbons etc that had curtains around it. She took one look and went "not on your life"! Tried for a bit and the judge then suggested I go the otherway around so I was between her and the "curtains of doom" and since I protected her she was fine... the judge then made us trot the original way and all was good She still got Champion as well, beating the 3yos! I will never forget it though They haven't had that centre bit at any other show I have been too either

Sunday 15th May It is only for purebred arabians and arabian derivatives (ie partbreds LOL) Woohoo! Have you got time booked off work? I heard last night that my kelpie puppy is going to a while longer The bitch managed to pull damage the internal scar from a previous c-section and so they will be waiting until her next season at the end of the year to breed her.
-
Her first show is at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon 3pm start for her classes as they have ridden in the morning, dressage at lunch then halter from 3pm. I will also have one of my Anglo fillies competing too. Yay Well done :D I am waiting for it to cool down more so I can enter Varda again Not good There are some real lowlifes in this world And a big YAY for Scoota! Hope he is still going well and his appointment today is a success
