Kinta has had anal glad issues all her life too - must be a kelpie thing as I empty her and Banjo's a lot but don't seem to need to with the Lappies! Anal incontinence
-
Well done CC! RS, will be interesting to see how Ruby goes. Hopefully she recovers quickly now I had an interesting vet visit today. Kinta had been to the vet about 10 days ago as she kept licking her bottom. Turns out her anal glands weren't just full but were infected (including blood on one side ). So was put on antibiotics for a week and all seemed ok except she started licking and scooting again Back to the vet today with her when we picked up Asha from being sterilised. This time solid green pus came out of her anal glands And both this time too So 5 more days of a different antibiotic as well as an injection today and we will see if this clears it up Otherwise she might be getting them both removed!

Welcome Bromaco Are you currently a DogsWest member? If yes, then you should be able to apply for your prefix whenever you want. If not then you do need to wait until you have a registered dog in order to become a member - then you can apply We expect to see lots of Lab baby pictures when you do get her :D Bugger to everyone with broken dogs Miss Diva is broken still too so I know how you feel Luckily she is fine to stay in the paddock - she stresses big time when yarded! It is a lot harder to xray all of a horse though than a dog Will be chatting to my vet tomorrow about a referal somewhere with a better ultrasound though. Stupid animals - don't they realise we have better things to spend our money on?

Lots of healing vibes being sent to all the sick/injured DOLer animals ST, so sorry to hear about your little on
-
See, I find the kittens cuter than puppy photos of the age RV put up LOL. I have to admit I don't find puppies that cute until they are a couple of weeks old Then I am happy to see lots and lots of photos
-
Happy Birthday CC Congratulations ST
-
Fingers crossed Kenz recovers quickly and fully! Ptolomy - I got mine last week :D RV, you haven't cleaned up your car yet? Sounds like me And how exciting about your potential puppy!

I am glad to hear that Indie has finally decided to eat again I hope that it continues and he is well on the way to recovery now

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. My Mum had a lovely roast for dinner - made by her :D I did consider taking her out to dinner but she has just spent 2 weeks away, was back for 3 days, then gone for another week, so was very over eating out ROFL. Good news about Zeus Emery Long may it continue! Hopefully Wandy is feeling better this morning. And Labrat - hopefully you survive your first day at work after your long holiday :D Also congratulations to the DOLers who did very well at shows this weekend!
-
Woo hoo ! Well done! This new format in the forum is going to take some getting used too... I missed the "new post" button too! I am glad to hear it will now be back LOL
-
Yay to Zeus and Scoota Lots of healing vibes going their way still though Ness, I will keep my fingers crossed for you for Monday Diva's day of "reckoning" is Tuesday - she is a horse not a dog but hopefully she can have good vibes still
-
Big (((hugs))) Emery! Hope you get good news today and he can at least be made comfortable until your husband can say his goodbyes I like collecting dogs But then they do get shown as well as agility/obedience LOL. Saying that of my current dogs Kinta is 9.5yo, Varda is 5yo and Banjo is 3yo! So I do have a decent gap between them Although I thought there was longer between Banjo and Varda but oh well LOL. The way things are atm Banjo will be a 4yo when I get my next pup Mum has Boots (8yo) and Asha (10yo) at her place. Although Boots was 15 months and Asha 6 years when they came into our lives She is planning on getting a new pup next year as well

I believe George only works a few days a week, but has Ross Staddard there when hes not, and he has a good reputation George was definitely working that day It isn't hard to know when he is there Plus if he wasn't shouldn't the vet nurse have told me? Regardless we are talking nearly 8 years ago now Strangely enough - my dog is still not showing any signs of OCD now that the initial lameness has been treated (she has chronic muscle issues) Good vets are great... as are good receptionists and vet nurses Anyone of those not being so can lead to a very stressful vet visit!
-
Mine were posted today (paid yesterday!) I only ordered 3 leads and also got her to make me two slip collars
-
I am interested in seeing a photo of your dog in the collar too please I have to have flat collars tight on my boy - even then he is good at pulling out of them if I hand him to someone else to hold and move away from him
-
Happy birthday Boxagirl Getting close ST!

George Huber??? ;) will always reccomend George worked with himn volunteer for three years and he does have a heart of gold but be prepared to cop it too :D he is certainly very blunt George is great - but I won't go to that clinic if I can avoid it now after the last time I went and specifically asked for George and then got some person straight out of school who misdiagnosed my dog (apparently my dog had OCD because nothing showed on the xray :p ). The whole reason I went was because my normal vet was on holiday and I didn't want to see the "straight out of school" vet that was my other choice
-
Congratulations Is he the dog in your signature?
-
While I find all the rest distrubing too... are you saying she didn't check these before giving the vax? Definitely would be struck off my list of vets to see!
-
Cleanrun have those collars too - I was looking at them the other day Maybe their postage is cheaper? (And I know OzJen and J are planning a cleanrun order soon )
-
(((hugs))) Emery It really does suck that they have to get older
-
Thank you
-
You have to pay GST on orders worth over AU$1000. You also need to pay if they need to treat the items at all - and they shouldn't have to if marked as new. Other than that their are no custom charges
-
Can you tell me which judge is doing the Lappies and Kelpies please? Just Country they are from is ok
-
With him in front getting the plastic out of the way it isn't too bad - but could you imagine if the horse tried to go through by itself Having seen enough dogs get caught up in collapsible tunnels and knowing how dumb horses are that is just a recipe for disaster! But looking at the Aust Horse Agility Club website it definitely isn't a piece of equipment they would use
