I wouldn't mind doing Rally-O training too. Wish Canine wasn't so far away!

Sorry to hear Emery :-( Big hugs to Zeus and your family
-
Well I already had a photo in my work directory called Banjo so I needed a different name His nose is stuck into a fold in the blanket and his tail is then over the top And when I went to look he didn't even move a muscle Mean mean me
-
Oh and I felt very mean when I woke up this morning This is what I woke up too... I have now ordered him a new dog rug
-
Poor RS... I have a busy busy day at work today. Will be away from my desk from 9.20 until around 3.30 with only a 30 min or so break for lunch at some stage
-
Happy birthday Amypie!

Or just do what most people do and don't tell anyone If the neighbours have no reason to complain then how will council know?

Geraldton climate: http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/geraldton/climate.shtml Um, I didn't really notice the winds when I lived in Geraldton - but I was between the ages of 6 and 8 years A little bit further South in Greenough you have the leaning trees though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenough,_Western_Australia A lot of WA gets bad Easterlies in summer though... you learn to live with it
-
Hi Kate, Council websites are usually correct. However most (but not all) councils in WA allow you to apply for a license to have extra dogs It is probably best contacting them directly. Geraldton is nice As long as you don't mind wind
-
Sounds like you are well and truly getting your puppy fix RS! I can't believe you had to have a sleep over last night I am also guessing that your OzLotto ticket was the same as mine and a dud
-
Aww, she is hiding! Tiggy, sorry but you are making me
-
Oh and you lot are brave considering going to training! Has been wet and windy on and off all day here At least we had a nice patch when the vet came although got soaked feeding up later on I have already decided I am not going to training tomorrow
-
Alas no But since I started with a complimentary $5 chip (you get one when you present your theatre ticket ) and $3 in my own coins you could say that I had a very very good return on my investment It more than covered my petrol to drop everyone off and Maccas for us all In fact I probably won what the rest of them lost combined I am up for that There were actually 2 lucky machines although 1 was better than the other. Aside from what I won RV had a decent win on one (which she subsequently lost ;) ) and I saw decent wins from 2 other people on them too! They just didn't like you ROFL... I was wondering whether to get some more chips when I cashed in my complimentary one - but I only had a $50 and I couldn't make myself get $50 of chips!
-
Do they still do best opposite as well? They did when we went in around 2007.
-
Yay Tiggy! You and I can console each other together LOL. I am not holding my breathe that Varda will manage to get 3 out of 3
-
Oh and I don't usually go to the AGM - too hard to get there on time unless I leave work early.
-
Happy birthday once again to RubyStar And happy birthday Buster too Mason, pups are too cute. Lucky you having puppy cuddles (and puddles ) to look forward too Apparently my Dad thought I would have spent all my winnings before I got home I want to go back to the casino with RS, AP and RV - they are good luck :D However vet will be here in about 20 mins so it won't be lasting much longer :p

Yay for Emery Congratulations

I was wondering that too. She hasn't posted for a while and with the recent bad weather to encourage labour...

AVA vaccination reccomendations http://www.ava.com.au/policy/67-vaccination-dogs-and-cats "Because of maternally derived antibody and the variability in its level and duration between individuals, vaccines should ideally be administered two to three times to puppies and kittens, with timing of the final dose being variable but not earlier than the age of 16 weeks (the suggested age varies with the manufacturer and the vaccine). If cost is an issue and only one vaccine is possible, it should be at the age of 16 weeks or older."

Not sure on your budget but we stayed here: http://www.stayz.com.au/13023 Easy walk to lots of food places and a supermarket - although cost seems to have gone up since we stayed. Interesting they now do an additional $40 charge for cleaning if you have dogs - we were told after our inspection that we left it cleaner than most people do who don't have dogs! And that was with 2 long hair dog, one of which was around 4 months old ;)

There website says small dogs only Will need to send them an email and figure out if 15-20kg dogs are considered "small"
-
Yeah but if I don't ask you I won't find out at all :p My guys get C3 at 7-8 weeks then C5 at 11-12 weeks and 15-16 weeks. If they only get C3 at 11-12 weeks then they don't need the 16 week vax. I take them out to safe places from when I get them and consider them "fully vaccinated" from the second one - well 10 days after

Brilliant thanks Showdog I didn't think to look to find websites of any Club who has run Nationals

A group of us from WA are looking at going over the Melbourne for the inaugral Lappy Champ show. We found some great dog friendly accommodation when we last went - but that was near the showgrounds. So any suggestions of where to stay at the other end of Melbourne? We will likely end up with 5-7 people and 8-9 dogs!
