The air can pass through the one I got this time as well and has a cooling effect both dry and wet (apparently) It is more expensive than the other one we all got but cheaper than the Cool Champion ones. I will let you all know how it goes!

I don't like the Cool Champion coats. I have one but find they are a pain to use and not as good as the much cheaper one I bought from CleanRun last year. Amypie, the one with white parts is still mostly black, particularly across his back Kinta is dark brown as apposed to Banjo's black - but I would say Banjo definitely feels the heat (and cold) more than Kinta. Maybe it is a wussy dog thing rather than a coat colour thing?

Poor little puppy! I hope the owners have been reported to the RSPCA My cat has often had multiple feeds for one meal as my Mum or I have already fed her and then she starts to do the "I am starving, noone ever feeds me" meow to the other one of us! We have now learnt to ask if the other has already fed the cat ;)

Food and suppliments won't get through customs I would wait to get a cool coat until the pup is older as well. You would need a different size at least once a month until the pup is 7 or 8 months old otherwise! ETA: Remember your new pup is a light colour this time as well... the only reason Banjo needed a cool coat yesterday is because he is black, otherwise he would be fine

Um... stuff? A new cool coat for Banjo after the heat yesterday and a few of the high-vis toys from the free shipping. I really like the look of their British-style slip leads as well - and they come in funky colours :D So have a couple of them, some more toys and some books in the paid shipping order - but think I will have to remove stuff coz shipping is over $50

I find it hard to get motivated on Mondays Although I have put in a free shipping order for CR and am now looking at a paid shipping order ;)

Wasn't my weekend with my own dogs Banjo decided that 8 weeks without training in a Club environment = a distracted Kelpie. Although he did some good bits as well and I forgot he is a "baby" dog in my handling of the tyre. Jenna decided that it was too short a time since she did agility last so had lots of fun "telling" me what we were meant to do next which meant that she forgot to listen to what we were really meant to do And Abbey after 8 weeks of no training with me and a week out of season when clear in both Masters Agility and Jumping Albeit slow and steady with me even telling her at one stage that she can speed up :p I can't believe how hot it was yesterday though... keep away summer! Wow! I was expecting a few more years on that. You have certainly started the training young (and well done on the Club letting her have a go) Look out Junior Handlers 2016

Zora is too cute :D Varda had fun playing with her. Unfortunatley Var's CCD trial didn't go to plan. She started well but by the time we got to the figure 8 in the heel routine she decided it was just too hot! She then proceeded to sit instead of stand for her SFE - twice! Which isn't like her given she would never think to sit in the show ring! Then for the recall she didn't want to sit initially After a chat with Jill I have decided to definitely scratch her before the trial if it is going to be over 20C. Might just stick with night trials only... However on a good note Arlo won Intermediate in Show at the Spitz Dog Open show From a big line up as well :D I am also hoping Banjo is as good tomorrow as he was today going over jumps when I get home :D Probably won't be though

If our Working group was like the FCI one I would agree. But as I said earlier, our Working is most countries' Herding/Pastoral so I would think that the GD would be out of place

I am curious as to why you think that GDs should be working dogs? The working group really should be renamed the herding group as that is what all breeds in it were originally bred for. There are a couple of other Spitz breeds who should really be included in the Working group though such as the Samoyed

I voted no for a purely selfish reason! I have Kelpies and Lappies and I don't want to be showing in two different Groups In fact if the Spitz Group was introduced I doubt I would show both breeds at the same show as there is too much of a probability that Group would be on at the same time in both rings.

You lot have very fussy cats! Mine get whiskas sachets and whiskas biscuits. Although admittedly have tried other bickies and while they ate them they didn't like them quite as much. Oh and the rabbits and mice they catch for themselves

Hmm, isn't ANKC a purebred organization? Personally I think it is nearly time for dog sports to have their own governing body. It isn't as if many agility/obedience people put their hands up to go on the higher level committees at DogsWest so that they can have more of a say. I do believe that the bottom oval needs to be fixed and the promised toilet block built though lol
