Kelpie :) Bitch apparently has milk and was nesting last night :) I haven't heard anything yet today though...

I am counting down until to seeing if the first requirement is met  Although it is hard to count down when you don't know the actual day! Hopefully soon! Then another 6-8 weeks before I find out if I get a new arrival ;) I don't mean to alarm you... but... I think your dogs are aliens I agree with AP

I would love it if I could get a GSD who LOOKED like Inspector Rex though :D That is one (or however many dogs played him  ) nice piece of dog flesh ;)

Was that Naval Base beach? That is the main one the horses go to down there :) Poor Rosie :p Currently counting down... I am not impatient at all ;)

Edgesmum, you have to book no more than 5 months in advance - we tried LOL I always thought there was a limit but a friend was told recently if you are a passenger on the flight the dog will be accepted regardless of how many were already booked. That didn't seem right to me and often the bookings people seem to get things wrong ;)

Wayrod, do you know if there is a limited number of dogs per flight for Qantas?
-
I just use the "partnership" option and put both names in the lastname box I have never had a problem doing that LOL

So when is Booker's next show?? :D I know you probably haven't been feeling like it but he is such a lovely boy I love Boxers too. They would be on my "big dog list" if I ever decided to get a big dog rather than my medium hounds LOL

My next one will hopefully be born in a week! Waiting very impatiently to see what the bitch has since I can only have a girl...

I like Carla O'Donnell's dogs She doesn't breed that regularly though http://www.aneirabygoldens.com/

My dog has spent two days at the vet due to eating raw bones - or at least swallowing them without chewing enough ;) And I know several other dogs who get ill if they eat them. So I can actually understand why a vet might recommend against them - except then of course they miss out on the consult fees

A show lead, AP? Although I get pretty ones from OzJen now ;) Or at least the dogs I show except my own do - I need to rectify that

The slip leads are expensive there! In comparison to CR anyway In fact I think they are around that price as the CAWA dog shop
-
Particularly after they got so soundly told off after allowing Equine Influenza to get into the country in 2007 due to slack quarantine practises...

Asha was a bit over 8 years old when she had her last litter. It was an "oops" litter due to a silent heat but to a suitable dogs (previous mating resulted in only one pup which titled easily). She was allowed to have the litter on vet's advice and had the largest litter and the least complications than during her 3 previous litters! Saying that she is now coming up to 11 years old and except for slight cataracts you would think she is still a puppy ;)

My kelpie was sterilised after her jaw went undershot at 6 months. Not much point keeping her entire if she couldn't be shown My first Lappy was sterilised after reabsorbing pups (well except for the one she aborted at 8 weeks ) as she cycled every 4 months which was a PITA for agility/obedience and while she had her show title she wasn't going to do anything else major in the show ring. She was 4 years old when done. Our other girl was sterilised at around 10 years as we were not going to show her any more. She had started silent heating which was a pain so she was speyed. The vets commented that her uterus was not in good shape and she was a pyo case waiting to happen. Our older male (nearly 9yo) will be getting done ASAP for several reasons. First, he will not be shown again. Secondly, we are planning on getting a couple of new females and it would be nice to not have to try and keep them split Third, he has developed a lump on his scrotum and it is safer to get him desexed. All our dogs stay with us as they are pets first and foremost The exception was a dog who had trouble fitting in and once his show career was over he was desexed and rehomed and now is a much happier dog

My lot get Supercoat biscuits ;) They look as good, if not better, than they did on Advance. And my Kelpie is always getting comments at shows about how black and shiny he is (although that did make it hard at a photo shoot using a black background :p ):D I do toss up occasionally about trying other brands but they are not so easy find, where as I can go to my local stockfeed 7 days a week if I run out Oh, and our cats get Whiskas (wet and dry) and most have lived to 18+, except for the white nosed cats who we have had problems with cancer but I put that down to their white noses

Boxergirl, yay for continued improvement of Bondi Lots of lovely beach photos as well Although it still doesn't make me want to spend the time driving there

I have always known "Red Clouds" to be red and tan (with or without white). And yes so many people in WA seem to think the Red Cloud is a different breed to a Kelpie

My younger kelpie is fine with bobtails, although he did chase a goanna into my laundry (but called off it :p) The other day I let him out the front and he took off down the path before doing a strange leap then stood looking at me as he had a bobtail hissing at him. The look clearly said "do something Mum... he is scary" ROFL. My older Kelpie plays tug of war with the Lappy though with bobtails as the "tug rope" I have not seen a lizard in with my dogs for ages... I only see lizard parts after they have dealt with them when I have been out -
Strange that it doesn't have Kelpies then as they are shown in the Netherlands! Oh well, I wuv my wittle Aussie dogs :p Very good buy for $5 Wnjoy Adventure World :D

I would also love to know My Lappies are very effective Bob Tailed lizard killers and I really wish they wouldn't -
I am guessing the book is American? Here's another test... does it include Xolos? :D
