How many people usually leave collars on when flying? I don't generally leave collars on my dogs and am tossing up whether to this time... it has been 3 years since we went East to compete

She kept us amused at the very long presentations :laugh: As for flying most dogs cope without an issue including one I know who is very bad if left in a crate at a trial and his huMum walks away! He was suprisingly fine with flying :)

Jive is so much more full on now Anikka isn't here to tire her out ROFL I had a reasonable day at agility yesterday :) Lovely weather anyway :D Banjo had an absolutely appalling run in his very first go at JDX as he just didn't seem to want to be out there at all :p But made it up with a JDX pass in the second trial on a course not really suited to unmotivated dogs so I was doubly pleased :D Abbey started out very bad but then had some good moments in the last couple of rounds but no passes as I will not baby her around JDM any more :p Then I had lots of fun doing JD with Jasper in the last trial :D Very amusing since I had only done a couple of things with him before this but very happy as he stayed with me and finished the course (ok so DQed but who cares :p ) And OMG I had to run

Ahh! I hate my work at times! Well no, I hate some of the people at my work :p And stupid thing is he used to be ok but now he just likes flexing his authority particularly if his "favourite" may be adversely affected! He was going to not officially ratify my leave (which has been booked within the department for 6 months!) Because someone is at a conference and someone else is also away because that only left his "favourite" to mind shop. Stupid thing is the only person who has a patient without anyone else in the office during that time is me so it isn't as if it affects his favourite at all anyway Although she was asked to do an urgent patient - maybe that is the issue... Oh and I had already cut my leave from 9 days to 4 to cover patients of the person at the conference and he had been at all the meetings when it had been discussed and not said anything! Seriously if he had said I couldn't have it I think I would have told him I quit (due to other stuff he and the favourite have been up to as well...) bugger with that though is I have no money so would have been screwed Oh well vent over. I wonder if I should tell him how fed up I am getting with him and his favourite at my next performance review ETA: I think I need to win lotto.

She kept us spectators amused :laugh: We all cheered (quietly...) when she finally got her act together and swam out to the bird :D It was a very long swim for the dogs and it would have felt like an eternity to the handlers since they couldn't see their dogs for so long!

Second page I had a good weekend :) Spent yesterday morning cheering RS on in her retrieving then spent the afternoon playing with Lappies - which had the added benefit of tiring Jive out :laugh:

While they may need to take more shots those extras wouldn't be over $400 worth of films! The biggest expense in xrays is usually the anaesthetic. Hopefully you get to the bottom of it soon. If you can go to a specialist clinic that would be best in my opinion. Out of interest what did they say when you "complained" about not being told of the extra consult charge? Even that is ridiculous in my opinion as we have long consults for the horses that don't cost that much! Of course we usually have to pay travel on top ++ expensive meds :laugh: Ness, brilliant news about Kenz!

8am start for Novice. 11ish maybe(?) for Restricted (going on the Restricted vetting times which is 10.30-10.45). I was going to say ask RS not me! I know people might be rocking up from around 7am... that is the limit of my knowledge ROFL I want to see Ruby in Novice :D It should be a lovely day for it although I wish we had more lead up rain to fill the dams/lakes

You guys were fine Emery... I didn't even notice your hubby Actually most people where fine saying that they were annoyed by the situation not us - which we were right on board about! There was just a small minority who thought abusing us was good fun. Including one lady who was screaming abuse coz we let someone else in before her yelling that she had been waiting 2 hours - however if she had been waiting 2 hours she would have well and truly left before the congestion started :laugh: I did feel bad when we had to leave when it got dark (we were kicked out as we didn't have high vis night gear on) and the car park wasn't empty

The ponies are in a different area to where the puppies willl be... I am sure we can organise for you to visit them as well though RnH :laugh: Hmm, just thinking... I probably should tell my neighbours there will be constant gunshots throughout the day Although there is only one who will really notice and they annoy us with their quad bikes anyway
