Hi JLD, i did post in the Bully thread but not sure if you saw it. Please really think about this Bull Terriers are not easy pups to raise, hell mine isnt even an easy Adult to raise! I really think you need to have another think about this. There is no way i would get a second dog while the first is still a puppy, if it was me i would be training the pup and waiting until i had the baby and got into a routine before bringing in what can be a very full on demanding dog. good luck with whatever you pick. Its funny Ive never had much to do with Bullies but we had 3 or 4 in over xmas and you are so right, I found them LOVELY but bloody stubborn and hard work so I would have to agree with what you have said, REALLY think about it!

How are everyones babies coming along? Mine are off to their homes next week. I still sadly have two avialable due to people pulling out ect, slightly annoying but hey what can you do?

I personally don't like the colour! But am interested to read more bout it, I don't know if I'd like to become a big thing here in aust we have enough backyard breeders n issues without adding a rare colour to the mix !!!

I am sitting here having alittle think. I've been on these boards along time now, I originally joined up looking for a Puggle breeder I got flamed Best thing that could have happened really, it made me pull my head out of the sand and do some research and that lead me to my first love... Pugs! And also thanks to DOL I found my second love...Pointers Thanks to DOL I've met some great people, and have made some friends who I dare say will last a life time. Also because of DOL I started showing and now have just survived (ok a week or so till they leave but so far so good) my first litter. I must say I am very proud of myself at the moment, I have been sitting playing with the puppies and I realised that even if the two Im running on dont work out as show dogs I know every single one of these pups are going to be AMAZING pets Anyways just had to share how I was feeling at the moment :D DOL is one awesome community!!!!!!!! P.s. One very cute puppy pic just because I think his awesome... This is Mr Schu! (sorry about the size )

Pointer.... English, not german! My guys tick every single one of your boxes the only issue you might have would be with chooks, if the chooks are penned then it wont matter but I wouldnt trust many if any of the gundogs with birdies :D Pointers LOVE water all mine swim like fish even the one who originally didnt love water has grown to love it and has learnt to swim rather than drown. ALOT of pointer people are horse people and their pointers are great with their horseys.

Thanks for the help guys I have also added Fancy and Rosa to the list! The girl name list is getting longer than the boy name list which is really unusual for me! I always suck at girl names!

A few of the names are going to the top of the list for when I decide who stays then Im going to decide what suits the two stayers!

Well I was told of isnt allowed, but am going to try both! I checked the ANKC rulings last week regarding names and there isn't anything about not using the word of. Isaak is Twist of Fate, had they not accepted of he would have had a completely different name because there was no way he was being Twist ov Fate. Yes Im going to try of and see what happeneds but if you look here it says Im not "ment" to use it http://www.dogsnsw.org.au/members/member-information/forms.html but Ive heard of so many people using of I am going to have a try!

Hi guys... thought I would pop this in general as this is where it will get the most hits As some may know I have my first litter on the ground they are seven very cute pointer babies and it looks like I will be running on two to show A boy and a girl! So heres my issue I have a few great rego names to go with my theme but am finding it hard to come up with call names to match My theme is "colours" these are my fave names so far ( I have a few others for the pets these are just the ones im considering for the two show kids) Caught red handed A shot ov pure gold Paint the town red Out ov the Blue Little White Lie silver lining I am open to other rego names but atm Im more looking for call names. To make things hard my girls name is Kite show name Aspyre with flyin colours, and I'd really like to give them object names (Im not even sure thats the right term) but for eg I was considering Gun for "a shot of pure gold" it really doesnt matter if I can find names like that for them it was just an idea I had, another option was for names meaning White as my girl often gets the nick name Whitey Sooooo if thats not all far too confusing does anyone have suggestions

Pointers would stil be top of my list then Pugs (my second breed) would still be there! Frenchies border terriers and english and gorden setters I think I could own any of these just depends on circumstances!

My Babies are 6 weeks this week..... Im not 100% sure yet who my hopefuls will be but I cant wait to choose

But then I have my next fawns name picked out too, hopefully it get used sometime soon ;)

My guys have 3 lots of new owners coming on the weekend of the 7th/8th I will more than likely run on two so there will still be two looking for homes, but as I dont know what I want to keep I havent been advertising them much but will be putting an add in the paper maybe next week? Just to see if I can grab the last two nice homes :D

If you brush her ears reguarly they wont mat! Every few days with a comb and learn to splice knots if you stay on top of it you shouldnt get matted ears again
