  9. I stumbled across an add on gumtree for a dog advertised free to good home and it states the dog was from a rescue group on the central coast (paws?) I have tried getting in contact with the rescue group about it, Im assuming most groups would want the dog back to vet new owners? But have not had any luck. I wont put the add up on here as I'm not sure if we are allowed to link to sites such as gumtree, but if anyone knows anything or can help PM me and I will send you the link.

  12. Yup, I doubt you would go wrong with either! both wonderful breeds... Boston shedding would be different to Pug shedding thou, Pug shedding can be excessive bostons not as much so!!! Pugs are easier to come by! In the end I think it will come down to which breed you prefer and what pupp yu fall in love with
  13. Thanks... I am soooo in love! Mum owns his half brother a lovely little rough dog called Dumbldore so figured we would stick with the Harry Potter theme and so Neville Longbottom it was!
  14. My new little rising star!!! Cricklewood Night of Magic In Paris (IMP NZ) aka Neville
  15. I'd go the GSP... but then i have a soft spot for all types of pointers I am currently training my English pointer boy in Obedience and then hopefully aglity and I am loving it. He is from european feild lines and hes got a completely different energy to my girls, he is so fun to train and whilst he doesnt pick up on things the same way my friends aussie do its great watching him learn and progress!!!
  16. I disagree with the pug recomendations, wonderful dogs but they she alot... My girl doesnt shed as much as others be she sheds a hell of alot more than alot of the other breeds being suggested here! I think lowchens are great it pet trims, griffons of either coat type are great and I have a soft spot for tibbies!
  17. I just came to post about the numbers being up but you beat me to it LOL! Fast work !!!
  18. I LOVE Pointers! Nothing comes close! Dislike... scotties, american bulldogs and jack russels, I have had multiple bad encounters with each of them!
  19. Ditto goldenwei.... I need to find out if my "spare" handler is needed or not LOL!
  20. I sure hope so. Went and bought some "training" toys today so I can start rewarding with play not just food. So far so good they love them!
  21. Time for me to join the thread. So I have 4 show pointers and old muttly who I did obedience training with MANY moons ago and a pug. I decided I want to do more with my pointers than just show and would like them to be skilled in all areas of life so the training has begun. So far it has been VERY challanging, pointers it seems are not easy to train. I have had to start clicker training as they just werent getting what I was asking them to do and the progress from starting that has been amazing I now have most of them sitting dropping and standing when i ask (well they always knew stand as thats all Ive ever taught them as they are shown). just getting my girl kite to site was MASSIVE she is three and is such an easy going lovely girl ive never felt the need to teach her anything. My boy Konrad is the one who sparked the idea of getting their brains motivated. Hes from feild and show lines and I guess for a pointer he has alot of drive. Im now looking for new and interesting ways to get them all thinking, and am trying super hard not to bore them as they do get bored easy!!!
  22. what is steph's name so i can try and find it? ive seen the jap spitz one. Steph betts
  23. If you can get someone to watch him Id take him and his crate straight in at the drop off point (like a 2min walk) put him in the bench in his crate and then get someone to keep an eye on him for you while you get the rest of your stuff then park! im sure someone will help you out, I'll be there giving kristy and Andy a hand with the girls so if you see me and need help just yell!
  24. Yes bench slip gets one person in and the spare ticket you were given gets another person in. Exhibitor gates do open at 7am and we are ment to be in and ready to roll by the time they start letting people in at 9am. Im not sure how you go about buying another exhibitor ticket but im assuming if you got a showlink ticket they would still let you in before 9am through the exhibitor entrance!
