Its about 45mins away from Mudgee in the Central Tablelands region of NSW. My Grandparents have a farm at Rylstone so I love showing there as I get to see them Thats a much better technical discription unlike my very vague discription!

Newbie Dumb answer....Over that way (points maybe west way) We went last year and camped zero degrees one night...OH it was lovely!!! its somewhere about 3 hours away sorta kinda alittle bit near mudgee? then a few weekends later we went to mudgee/gulgong show and it was -3 degrees on night there! Still had fun thou LOL

Dam...is that rylstone one the one day show? I was interested but not for just one day, will be doing the two day one later in the year or was it a three day one...

30th January Thanx..thought it was feb 30 so not sure where my brain was at LOL! Anyone doing the cessnock and maitland day shows that are coming up? Not sure when they are but if they are the same as last year there is a two day show on the same weekend as the cessnock show at Medowie i'm thinking I'll do cessnock in the morning then head to medowie and do the night show IF there is one then camp and do the sunday show... LOL Just realised Im think out loud and no one probably cares! When are those shows? I dont know The maitland and the cessnock one are in feb i think and are advertised in the lastest journal....the medowie ones hasnt be advertised yet, I'm thinking it will be in the next months journal!

If you show me a pic of what they are ment to look like I can try and help, I like to think I'm pretty good at this whole grooming thing LOL otherwise I dont know why I'm getting paid to do it

I'll be there on the 19th then with Morty (although at 32kgs I don't think lil is possibly the word I'd use to describe him ) I'll be there on the weekend of the show, from memory my partner and I have volunteered for Stewarding duty on the Obedience side of things (its a huge show that weekend) for the Friday and Saturday night .... if you can let me know the showing schedule (in particular Gundogs - and Toy's of course so I can come and say hi) then I'll arrange to head over the bridge for that time Thanks everyone Maybe if you want Fiona give someone your mobile number then they can text you when GSPs are almost on? And also group if you want to watch that?

Ive done alittle stacking work but that about it...show training will be back on soon...wonder if its on this week! ahhh so that was my first question .... when/where is show training on? - I won't have the little one home until end of January (at the moment his name is still undecided) so do I just bring along another dog to use until he is old enough to come to training? I have Morty at home, he's 18mths old and occasionally has moments of maturity...... and um show leads? where do they come from? leads come from the show lead gods hehe no seriously thou find out what lead his breeder recommends and then look around for one and wether he needs to be shown or a chain or just a slip lead. Well, me and Dotty do different show training to the other guys cause we are up the valley but the guys that do hillsbro will be along shortly I'd say to let you know times, I know its tuesday's but thats all I know!

Dotty is right thou there are a fair few of us newy pepz around, and everyone is very very helpful. I have found the gundog ring alot of fun, more fun than the toy ring but I do love my pugs so gotta do what a girls gotta do! Actually is any one interested in a get together before the next show for a mini training session? (the hills bro show that is) Holy cow poocow... thats alot of shows, good luck with them all!

Congrads on your results guys! I have so many things I need to buy this year LOL I have just writen a list first on the list is a new out side play pen for the pugs! Whats everyones next few shows? Im abit all over the place, mums just been entering shows and I have no idea when most are LOL!

Hmmm I've spoken to a number of people who have had issues with CJ's. Tracie if you dont mind the drive I work at Bluegum Boarding lodge at morrisset and they are excellent there. We have a lovely frenchie in at the moment and he gets super spoiled mostly from me cause I like frenchies LOL also any pugs that come in get extra love an attention from me because I love them all. But generally all dogs get plenty of loving and cuddles from all the staff, they get plenty of time in the big grassed areas and if hes good with other little dogs hes more than welcome to join a play group (supervised) If not thats cool he just gets his own extra special time out in the run. Huey may loose weight anywhere he goes 4 days isnt very long for him to settle in, and a dog that isnt settle may choose not to eat, especially if he hadnt been there before, also some breeds do need more than some facilities realise and purhaps he was fed but just not feed enough for the breed, where ever you send him next make sure provide your own food and request he have two meals a day! We dont charge extra for feeding home prepared food or medication or anything like that like alot of other places either! PM me if you need anymore info! Did you send a blanket and or toys from home with your smells on it for him? Sometimes this helps dogs settle in better? Would also suggest Akuna at abermain...Spoilt lab lives here on these forums works there, atleast i think she still does, perhaps pm her? They are another I would reccomend!

Yep another vote for clip it, not worth putting the dog thru brushing...

Good luck LOL I picked one up for $10 at a garage sal once its an old c-crate one, was abit rusty but i scrubbed it up and put a new lid and floor just gotta paint it and put some of the none slip stuff on the wood bits and she will be ready to go. I have been looking for a second as I think I'm going to need it soon!

2 points, thats just not fair is it? No shows here, starting 2010 at hilsbro around jan the 15th I think! I know! Only two for Riley and 3 for Holly - Holly got the last 2 BOBs and Riley the two RuBOBs, if Riley had taken one BOB instead he would have had his title and been retired from the show ring - he doesn't like showing much. I've only titled one dog so far who was Ruby, hers here mostly 6 or 7 point challenges (one 11 pt challenge that titled her at the Royal though) so titling Holly and Riley is going to be so exciting! I know a few people that only needed a handful of points before the new year to title dogs, some happened some didnt!
