Im sure they will be fine...your house may be another story, I did similar with the pugs once and locked them in our massive bathroom/laundry and they got into EVERYTHING toilet paper every freaking where LOL! Before you know it your OH will be home and you can stop worrying! I know how you feel thou I had to leave my girl outside the other day which I never do they are always locked up if no one is home (which is rare) and I was paranoid allllll morning till my brother got home and thankfully everything was ok!

  17. I thought maybe they where out but can see their car from here they are there. They are older people maybe she just doesnt hear them?
  18. Ive always had good neighbours and never an issue with dogs barking. UNTIL NOW! I'm so over the dogs out the back there are two sets (two different houses) the two staffys bark but get over it, not sure if theres someone home calling them back up to the house or not but they are generally pretty good the other two are little shits! Now my dogs dont bark at all well the pugs do but they get lock up in to their pug area and you dont hear a sound out of them They might bark for a 5 minutes total in a 24 hour period if that. Currently the pointers out the back exploring and these dogs wont stop barking. (the pointers dont bark unless the stupid lady out the back pops her head over! Its been going on for the past hour and will continue nonstop all arvo. I am considering writing the people a note and let them know that its out of control but I'm not fantastic with words so any tips on a nice way to say your dogs are driving me batty please shut them up? ETA actually I did have an issue with barking dogs at the old place but after I yelled out in the middle of the night when they used to bark "FFS SHUT THE BEEP UP" those dogs never barked again during the night...
  19. I am needing to find somewhere for the puppies to go at 7 weeks old, or if I can get them to Brisbane I might be able to look after them for another week or so...I can't take Mum dog because 'technically' she belongs to someone - if you find my earlier discussions this is discussed in detail, a whole 'nother story....I know this is not ideal and that a lot of breeders keep them up to 12 weeks, but a vet told me they can be removed from mum at 6-8wks old as long as they are weaned, and its honestly a lot better than they would get here being left to fend for themselves. I thought a rescue place may take them and by the time they were vet checked etc it would be close to 8wks before leaving littermates. I would have prefered for them to be de-sexed before re-homing so that they don't end up like their mother. I think either way you look at it they need to be desexed its the right thing to do if you cant afford it ect then they NEED to be taken to the RSPCA (as much as I detest the RSPCA) or if you can find a rescue group who can help in desexing and rehoming that would be the happiest alround idea. Anychance you can sneak mum dog away for desexing before you leave? ( I have no idea of the back story with her but will go have a read now) No sure if you can put them in the rescue section cause they arnt desexed yet but the moderators might be abit giving in this case? If so I'd get the topic moved some of the rescue folk dont leave the rescue section and they might be able to help more than others!
  20. depends what you want to show on, what does the breeder recomend? Sexy leads can be found here... http://www.facebook.com/BlingShowLeads (same site but not face book) http://www.snazzypoochleads.com/
  21. Or if you could advertise them somewhere like on pet link and advertise them for price of desexing which has to be paid say a week prior to picking up the pup so they can be desexed?
  22. So sorry if this is a silly question but why wouldnt the shelter take them? What about a rescue group or at worst the RSPCA atleast then they would be desexed prior to rehoming?
