Anyone Want A Free Home Stay In Sydney?
MadWoofter replied to MadWoofter's topic in General Dog Discussion
If anyone could help by walking the hairies that would be great. I'm in Beverly Hills - about 10 mins from the airport and just north of Hurstville. they only need about 30 mins and not even every day. They are well behaved and generally walk well on the lead thanks so much to everyone -
Anyone Want A Free Home Stay In Sydney?
MadWoofter replied to MadWoofter's topic in General Dog Discussion
thanks so much everyone for your comments and offers. i've been home alone for the last 3 days with no'dramas. I think my poor mum was panicking more than anything ! Home stay is no longer required (unless someone does want a holiday). I don't need any assistance, it was just in case I face planted on the crutches LOL. -
Does anyone want a couple of weeks holiday in Sydney? I need someone to stay with me for a few weeks as I require some assistance (I broke my leg 3 weeks ago). Free rent & meals, the days to yourself, I really just need someone here overnight in case, and to walk the hairies. anyone interested?

Just saw this. Count me in. This one is right up my alley (can I get a big can of red spray paint & graffiti their shopfronts?)

CW EW - he gets along fine with other dogs, people & cats. Not sure on how long - could be up to 12 weeks. Steve will know more about that.

Keeping you both in my thoughts here. What an horrific few days you've had. Sending hugs your way.

4 years ago I adopted Tess, and it seems like she's been a part of my life forever. She is my heart dog, and is now about 8 years old. 3 years ago Fleming came into my house as a foster, and a year later I formally adopted him. He's also 8. So happy anniversay and assumed birthday to my two beautiful hairies

My bunch are usually not phased by anything - lightning, fireworks.... they just take it all in their stride. We've just had a black-out in the street - everything went phut and died !! The dogs were so freaked. It didn't bother me at all, so it's not like they picked up stressed-out vibes off me. I just got out the torch, lit some candles and poured myself a glass of red Meanwhile, they stressed, and sooked and followed me everywhere. I didn't pander to them , and now everythings back they're in the usual spots on the sofa ! I'm not worried at all, I just wonder why they reacted like that? Any ideas?

My two are pretty good, and Fleming is exceptional considering his background. He finally, after 3 years, will only move to another room when I get the broom out rather than racing outside & hiding under his favourite bush ! Nothing really phases Tess out at all, although the first time I took her to the beach there was an old pier pile sticking out of the water which she really didn't like. Mum has a rescue greyhound who for months wouldn't go up the corridor unless she took a long run-up & three or four attempts. To this day she won't go in the bathroom. I'd love to know what it is with the feathers & guitars and other 'odd' ones that spooks them.

Mdba Pacers Need A Foster Carer In Sydney
MadWoofter replied to Steve's topic in General Dog Discussion
Thanks to everyone that offered to help this boy. He is now sound asleep curled up on his blanket in front of the heater and enjoying getting lots of pats & touch therapy -
Mine don't get tins as part of their diet, but I do have them for when I run out of their fresh mix. I only ever get Nature's Gift. I must say that when I go to open a tin the hairies go berko - they absolutely love it. I get so much more dancing & clacking of teeth when I crack open a tin as oposed to spooning out chicken rice & veg. I reckon it's like a Macca's fix - you know it's bad but it tastes so good. If I was going to feed kibble & tins only, I would not choose anything else other than Nature's Gift. they seem to be more aware of doggie food needs, and use much less preservatives.

Hello I Am Don Burke, Yeah Right!
MadWoofter replied to Wazzat Xolo's topic in General Dog Discussion
I've got this wonderful book by DB..... It's got lots of information about plants and animals, and it's got heaps of facts about dog & cat breeds, with things like temperament and who would be a suitable owner. It's going free to a home that's as useless as the information in it. -
I'm really interested in learning about touch therapy for dogs, and maybe even naturapathic healing alternatives. I've googled, but I seem to get people who offer these services rather than places where I can study & get practical experience. Has anyone done anything like this? Or know anyone who has? I'm interested in courses held in Sydney (or surrounds)
