  1. They're both straight off the camera, I haven't done anything to it. I upload to Photobucket using Flock. I think I'll contact their helpdesk to see what the story is.
  2. Does Photobucket affect the colours in an image when you upload to it? I think I just noticed a big difference to my orig pic in Photoshop and the uploaded version. I remember Ripley mentioning it before. Has anyone else experienced it? First is a snapshot from Photobucket, second from Photoshop.
  3. Persistent bugger, isn't she!
  4. Photobucket resizes mine for me
  5. Nope, with my Dogtra you can't. If you wanted to do that you'd need 2 collars and 2 remotes. Do you think both dogs start the fight every time? I would've thought it was a case that one starts and the other doesn't back down. Maybe they rotate who starts, but you should only need to correct one to stop a fight breaking out. If you watch their body language like a hawk you'll learn to pick up on what the signs are. [Waiting for K9 to come in and correct me!]
  6. Do you have Adobe Photoshop or Acrobat Professional?
  7. I thought I was, I've dodgy eyesight remember? I rely a lot on the auto focus. I've fiddled with the + / - dial on the camera, but I'm still a bit hit and miss. Every picture I took I thought I was focussed on the eyes
  8. Aw thanks They make pretty good subjects! I have them to thank for my renewed interest in photography too!
  9. No, I'll get the 85mm instead! I couldn't find any bugs
  10. Oooh, I'm so excited, I love it! I focussed on the nose far too many times, so I need to watch out for that. Really happy though, it's got heaps of potential. I just need better light than I had tonight.
  11. Thanks Charlotte, I'm still only about half way through all the reviews and I've found the answers I'm looking for. Cheers
  12. Nope, not this week. I've got some flowers in pots at home though and I'm sure I can find plenty of bugs
  13. Erny's in Melbourne I've never had young dogs so I really shouldn't be giving advice in case I'm way off the mark. I'll PM Erny and ask her to drop in!
  14. When I get home tonight I will put that lens on my camera and take some pics with it, I promise Chezzyr
  15. Can you do some training with him before you go out? A tired dog is a good dog! You could also try leaving the radio or the TV on. Have you done a search in the training section? You'll find heaps of old threads in there that cover barking and SA. PM Erny, she's a font of knowledge on these things! I don't think kenneling is a great solution. Can the breeder take him back for a while. Try talking to your neighbours and explain that you're working on it, they may be more understanding.
  16. Yeah, I remember, but I thought it was a macro only lens. When I took it out this morning and saw 50mm I thought "yay" I already have a nifty fifty. It's not though, is it? I will, but I was on the verge of buying a portrait lens when I found this, so just wanted to check that I wasn't doubling up. Yeah, they're pretty good value. I will, I will :D I'm just at work and I only found it this morning so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Jeez, gimme a chance
  17. Thanks! So would you say it's for macro use only? Is it any good for portraits? Should I still get a 50mm prime, do they do totally different jobs?
  18. What age is Obi? Have you done any independence training with him? Do you leave him a kong or similar to keep him entertained while you're out? Is he crate trained?
  19. Well, I knew I had it, but I only used it once for a macro job I did 10 years ago. I need to do some research. It says Canon Compact-Macro lens EF 50mm 1:2.5 on it. Does anyone have any links to websites that will show me pics taken with this lens? There's a handful on Amazon but I'd like to see more.
  20. Wow, they're beautiful pics Ripley It's not a bad little camera, it served me well
  21. No worries, I'm sure I'll start plenty more, I've so many questions I prefer it here to photography forums too
