  1. Over the last few weeks I've noticed Chopper seems to be losing weight. I can see his spine bones. He had his vaccs only 2 or 3 weeks ago and the vet said he was fine and looked in good condition. It's since then that I've noticed. He's not off his food and he's not acting any less annoying than usual! What could cause him to lose weight so quickly? He's not getting any more exercise and we haven't changed his food. I've upped his portion sizes, but I was wondering if it could be something sinister that requires a vet visit?
  2. I can't even cycle fast enough for Chopper, I don't imagine I'll ever be able to jog at his speed ... unless I get some bionic implants
  3. That's too funny  Very rarely Chopper will lift his leg to piss on a weed and I make fun of him for peeing like a big boy. He looks at me like I'm a bit mad! Maybe I am!!
  4. Chopper will be 3 in November and he still pees like a girl

  6. I've a Canon 30D and I love it. Lots of auto settings and manual settings. A 400D would probably be a good starter camera. Lots of people on here have them afaik.
  7. I love the lap of honour she does at the end! I thought you wouldn't be doing anything worth watching last night

  14. Didn't someone pull out? Was the place filled already?
  15. I'm not sure if I can go yet, but I figured I'd put the dates up for anyone else who might be interested.
  16. They allow e-collars from Australian suppliers? If the listings are overseas you can buy them but they'll get confiscated by customs on the way in. Same with e-bark collars.
  17. Nope! You probably asked here because you can't find any legislation concerning their legaility. There is none. You need an import permit to buy them from overseas. The RSPCA can do you for animal cruelty if they deem fit. But no, they're not illegal.
  18. 2008 Lure Coursing Fun Days Sunday 29 June Sunday 3 August Sunday 7 September Sunday 12 October Sunday 9 November cancelled due to hot weather Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs, Erskine Park Lure coursing is a performance event developed in the early 70's by sighthound fanciers who hunted jackrabbits in the open field, which risked the harm caused by barbed wire fencing. They invented lure coursing as a safer, more controlled sport for sighthounds that would recreate the physical requirements of open field coursing, allowing them to continue testing the functional abilities of their sighthounds. Lure coursing aims to preserve and develop the coursing skills inherent in the sighthounds and to demonstrate that they can perform the functions for which they were originally bred. The hounds chase plastic bags on a course laid out to simulate escaping game. The plastic bags are pulled around on a nylon string course, propelled by a hand controlled motor. 19. We've had more than a few of them. I think we went to the vets once for a particularly deep one. They didn't stitch it. Just cleaned it, put Neocort cream on it and bandaged it. Maybe ring the vet and ask what they suggest?
  20. Bloody hell, so much to consider Thanks for all the info PC
