  1. Me and Dave are gonna do it next year with Chopper and Trixie :D
  2. :D http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=143266
  3. For passing the Endurance Title today :D Hope your arse isn't too sore :p
  4. OMG look at that face!!! Lucky he's your dog, cause a novice owner would be completely sucked in and easily manipulated by those puppy dog eyes and cute head tilt ;) More pics please ;)
  5. Great pics! I love the one of you releasing your two  Hopefully one of the Dobe people got some good ones of Angel. I won't know till next weekend though.
  6. Yeah! It's pretty rare, but occasionally a dog will escape and run the course. I've only ever seen one fight and that was up at the cars between two entire dogs. It could've happened anywhere. Just give yourself plenty of room when you queue up as most of the dogs are waaay over excited. Or do what others do and queue up without your dog and then just bring it down to run when it's your turn. You should come next time. The dates are in the first post.
  7. Why on earth would anyone even think this. Totally different tools. One is for training, and NO, I certainly don't think its a LAZY training tool. Both you and the dog have to work to achieve the desired end result. Anyway, this thread is not about clickers, nor about doggies playing ball, it's about e-collars. Why go  and bait others. As for collars, that's the way life goes. Many tools & weapons were designed for Good purposes. Unfortunately, they do end up in the wrong hands. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?s=&a...t&p=2878880
  8. I was in and out like a flash! 3 runs in 90 minutes and then home It was a bit hot again today so I didn't want to stick around too long. I had my camera but I didn't trust Angel alone in her crate. It's not the sturdiest model on the market  Did your boyf get any pics Poocow?
  9. Yup! Me and the piglet and a crate Doesn't it just! Can't wait!
  10. Any other staffy people in this thread? Check this out ... http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/shows/2008LureRace.jpg
  11. He was for a long time but Trixie is now I've another one to add ... When playing fetch with Chopper and Angel, if Angel ever manages to outrun Chopper and catch the ball she'll run nearly all the way back to me and then drop it for Chopper to bring the rest of the way!
  12. Are you on the Yahoo list? There's a phone number you can call on the day to check if it's on. PM me if you want me to track it down for you
  13. This might help http://www.flyingdogpress.com/onldagg.html
  14. This isn't a big deal at all, but I'm really interested in canine behaviours and I was wondering what these things, that Chopper does, mean! 1. Presenting his manhood! He'll walk up to any of the other three dogs and sit really close with his legs open so they can lick his dick. 2. Running to the laundry door if Ivan starts walking towards it We've an open plan kitchen/living/dining area. Because it's cold at the moment we close over the door to the hall and the door to the laundry to keep the heat in. They're louvre doors, so they don't shut properly. Ivan only sits in the room with us if he thinks there's a slight chance that he might get food. As soon as he realises it's a futile exercise he gets up to go to his bed in the laundry. Often Chopper will jump off his bed in the lounge and run in front of the laundry door before Ivan gets there. He never actually challenges him. He just sits there until we call him away. It's not that he needs to go out, given the option he doesn't want to. I presume # 1 is submission and # 2 is challenging the bigger older dog. I'm confused though cause he regularly rolls over and submits to Ivan.
  15. Poor Desmo I'm glad you didn't use Chopper as an example, how embarrassing That's why I'm bringing OH to handle Trixie, he doesn't get distracted, or embarrassed :p
  16. He's actually ok once he's wearing a prong collar ... it's the getting it on him in the first place that's the problem We go past SR to get to Steve's, so if you did want Buster as a demo dog we could possibly pick him up on the way. As long as someone gave him a long walk beforehand JM do you want to let Mina know she needs to write a blurb on Buster?
  17. Someone would have to handle him though and I can't imagine there'd be many volunteers for that task
  18. Really?! I'm surprised. [that there's no other DOLers coming, not that non-Dolers exist!]
  19. Yeah, I should've said I learnt my lesson on all the previous occasions when I brought more than one dog and no crates. Especially the time I had three and no OH and I pulled a muscle in my shoulder
