  1. Ivan would fit in Angel's bed and Ivan's bed wouldn't fit in Angel's crate We kinda had a spare, but in Trixie's eyes it was her extra matress so she was quite miserable about the whole situation too
  2. I know that and he's been told that, but he doesn't agree with that theory.
  3. Angel wees in the house about once every 6-8wks. We try to keep an eye on her at all times, but sometimes we drop the ball This morning I got up and found her in her crate with no bed, only the plastic tray. I asked OH wtf he did that for. He said when he was going to bed he found she'd wee'd on Ivan's bed earlier on in the night so she lost her right to a bed last night : I don't dispute that it was her, cause the others hadn't moved from their bed in the lounge all night, but it had happened at least an hour before bedtime. I was so frickin angry but he reckons that I'm too soft on them and that's why they misbehave
  4. Maybe a sledding harness from Windchill? I use a Rogz harness on Chopper for cycling cause he pulls like a demon and it sounds like he's choking himself in a collar!
  5. Here ya go! I got two from here ... http://www.cozycritter.com/prongcovers.htm Not cheap though, for what they are.
  6. I bought one at the same time as you but I haven't used it yet
  7. Hi! I think we're going that way, but we're brining Trixie, so we may need to have the seats down to fit her crate. I'll check with OH and let you know
  8. Rogz ones come in heaps of colours too.
  9. I'd so love to do that. I wonder could Angel ever be obedient enough to try it!
  10. Steve did Bridget forward Trixie's bio to you? It outlines her issues and what we'd like to see covered
  11. In the incidents that I know of the vet charged AFAIK. They were rescue dogs and the rates were already greatly reduced. It's still a surgical procedure after all.
  12. It's something you request. I've heard of several dogs that have been opened up to be desexed only to find they were already done
  13. Sorry, no The only one I know of is the Afghan Club fun days at Erskine Park. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=139446 The next one is in a couple of weeks. Surely you'd like a day out If you have land you could buy the gear and set it up at home. It's kinda pricey though.
  14. On the interweb! Me too, but I figured I can do one night a week. If Sundays suit you better there's a club near Wollongong that train then. Yeah, I saw that. She's a sweetie. You''ll see why she's worth the effort
  15. Why not invest in a Balabanov or Leerburg drive training DVD? Or didn't Steve say he does a drive training distance learning package? If you want to haul ass over to Horsley Park every Monday night you could come to Schutzhund club with me and Chopper! If they let another imposter dog join, that is
  16. Hi 4 Paws Just wondering if you tried this yet? I watched what I think was the same DVD as you [Leerburg - Dominant Aggressive Dogs?] and I'm interested in trying this method at home to strengthen our position as pack leaders. I wonder how to go about it with so many dogs though Do we crate ones that can't be with us? Do one dog at a time? Should we rotate dogs between myself and OH so we're both their pack leader? Also, Chopper and Angel already have the occasional spazz out when we go places without them, would this method make them even less independent and more needy?
  17. Tina I'm so so sorry I just finished reading Monelite's email. When she told me this morning about Image I didn't realise it was your dog Take care
  18. Is that Sleek the Doberman? I wonder if it's the same dog that had a go at Monelites Rex at lure coursing last year? I hope so. It'd be great to see them come to the workshop
  19. I haven't taken any new pics for ages The weekends keep being over too fast
  20. Do you think $200 is a lot for a 2 day workshop
