  1. Yeah, he's neutered. I ran out of psyllium a few weeks ago. I was giving it to him to help him pooh more easily as he was straining. I'll get him checked soon
  2. The Annie Liebowitz documentary, Life through a lens, was just on one of the movie channels. Did anyone else watch it? It showed heaps of her work and it showed her at work too. It was really interesting. And she shoots Canon http://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/ep...ough-a-lens/16/
  3. There's an almost new 70-200 2.8 non IS for sale on POTN for $1500 if anyone's interested.
  4. If we didn't already have four dogs You can download the manual from the Canon site afaik BBJ
  5. Stormie, if I faxed your clinic the test results and estimate would I be able to get a quote for surgery without having to have a consult? If Trix and Diesel get done at the same time could we get two for one?
  6. Trixie has a lump on her back. It's about the size of a pea. I had the vet do a fine needle aspirate? Is that what it's called? Out of four slides three said it was a sebaceous cyst and one said it was a mast cell tumour. The recommendation was to operate to remove the lump. Our vet has estimated $700-$850. This doesn't include sending the lump for testing. I told him we had a lump removed from Ivan at another clinic for under $500 a year and a half ago and he said they weren't in a position to negotiate. He was totally nice about it and said it's entirely up to us if we want to go ahead with the procedure. I like this vet, I find them thorough. consultations cost $80, but they last over an hour. I'm quite sick of shopping around to try and find a good vet. This is about our fifth one and we've only owned dogs for about three years! On the other hand, I don't want to be ripped off. Is the price we've been quoted very high? I can list the exact breakdown if it helps?
  7. That's a good point, he drinks very little water. Maybe I'll pour some on his food to try and up his intake.
  8. I'm selling my Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. It's in perfect condition. Barely used. It comes with the original box and manual. Full specs here: http://www.canon.com.au/products/cameras_l...mF456isUsm.aspx $550 + p&p [or free pickup from Sydney] [it's listed elsewhere, so I'll pull this ad if I sell it there first ]
  9. What are you going to sell? The 135 is on my list Not that one, sorry! You knew that though, didn't you The last one, maybe the second last one too, still interested? Oh hang on, let me check your list, you probably already have them
  10. Damn, you got in first, I was hoping to offload one of mine
  11. No, but he gets this on all his meals and every few days some bran or psyllium husk. Would they do the same thing?
  12. I mentioned before that Ivan [who's 10] had been struggling to pooh occasionally in the last few months. His diet hadn't changed and the general consensus was that they can get constipated as they get older due to a change in their muscles. We had him groomed the other day and when OH went to pick him up they said he had a red lump on his anus which bled when they washed him. Could it be just a hemorrhoid? He doesn't seem in any discomfort.
  13. FWIW The Coogee Vet offers it too
  14. I'll go and make a cup of tea before I try and read all of that

  17. Mantis might have some links?
  18. When did this happen? We had two anti-barking collars confiscated about 18 months ago and tried to fight it, but we never got them back.
  19. Yup! The number of the last image is the shutter count. Unless you've made any changes to how your camera numbers the files.
