  1. Great, thanks Do I get it online or from a photo shop or an office shop? :D
  2. From Epson ... How do I select the right settings if I'm using Ilford paper and therefore can't use the Epson software?
  3. Cool  I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1410. I'd like to be able to use matte and gloss papers, depending on the image. Where do you buy Ilford paper from? I presume I won't be able to use the Epson Easy Photo Print software anymore as it only has options for their paper sizes and finishes? Do I just print from PS?
  4. I have an Epson photo printer. If I want personal prints for myself or friends I find it prints better quality than Kmart, Harvey Norman, etc. [i send important stuff to a proper lab.] I can only get 4x6 or 5x7 glossy photo paper for it though. All other options are A5, A4, A3 sizes and finishes. Does anyone know if I can use third party photo paper? I asked Epson, but I don't imagine they'll give me an unbiased answer!
  5. I think quite a few DOLers use these ones http://www.happypawstreats.com.au/home.cfm I haven't tried them yet. I use frankfurters. Chopper would work for kibble though, he's very food driven!
  6. I didn't get an email either CM Just thought it might make you feel better!
  7. Some of my friend's dogs taken over the weekend [Canon 50mm 1.4] ...
  8. Yours will probably be fine, I think mine are just particularly naughty Maybe ask your breeder, she's owned waaaay more dogs than me, I'm still learning and clearly making heaps of mistakes too
  9. Glad to hear you got a lie in, although 6am in my house is still pretty early! I'm not sure if I'm off the mark here, cause I've never had a puppy, but maybe you could take this opportunity to teach Rhino and Electra to be ok apart? So you don't end up with a dog that does this when you take his bestie out for a walk and leave him behind!!
  10. Next fun day is Sunday 16 Aug, details in first post. I'm going to miss it AGAIN! FFS!!!
  11. Oh yeah and I'll be sure not to accidentally send Chopper and Angel back to you by mistake
  12. I think you should send her to me for the two weeks so she doesn't get hyped up by Rhino wanting to play
  13. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...amp;hl=70-200mm
  14. I've been told that shutter lag and focus lock can come into play when shooting burst in AV. I've noticed it happening, but I haven't tried using M instead to see if it happens then too
  15. Cause he said he thought his dog would enjoy it. It's not all about the winning competitions yanno
  16. I know there are APBT's excelling at it in the US, but the rules are different here. I was allowed to join a club with two of my dogs, but the conditions were as I posted above, no character work.
  17. What's the benefit of shooting in manual mode over AV or TV? I always shoot in AV and I've seen comments made that you should shoot doggy action stuff in manual. Why is that? When I'm doing dog portraits I'm moving around a lot and I feel that shooting in manual would slow me down and I'd miss the moment too much. I'm open to try it, but I want to know what the advantages are first
  18. AB = Aussie Bulldog? No, they're not. Did you ask if you could train anyway? Just in obedience and tracking.
  19. Pics from today in the other thread now. Well done to everyone who organised the event and the competitors too
  20. Some [very mediocre] pics from today in the photos section. Hopefully I'll be more punctual and less hungover tomorrow and get some better ones
